Hard for me to see Rajai leading off much more than he did here I guess. He's an option, but they should be able to do better most days.

Middle of the order guys, not so many options.
The problem they have is they really only have 3 quality hitters right now and 4 if brantley is healthy... Shifting everyone up a spot to get a better leadoff hitter in place just moves up the 5 shitty turds on the bottom of the lineup. Cleveland 's lineup is straight up trash.

It's a shame some of their hitting prospects didn't pan out. Lonnie Chisenhall has not fully lived up to his potential, along with LaPorta being a complete bum. Santana should even be better by now.

KIND OF BORING........

Catchers: McCann, Saltalamacchia

Infield: Cabrera, Kinsler, Iglesias, Castellanos, Romine, Aviles

Outfield: JD Martinez, Maybin, Upton, Gose

DH. VMartinez

Rotation: Zimmerman, Verlander, Sanchez, Pelfry, Norris

Bullpen: F. Rodriguez, Lowe, A. Wilson, J. Wilson, Hardy, ?, ?

Barring injuries or a trade....it seems that 23 of the 25 roster spots are spoken for. And holdovers VerHagen and Ryan have their feet in the door for the last two spots. I guess this is what you expect when your minor league system is ranked 26th in baseball. Lacking the elite prospects.....I guess there will be an extra amount of ink and internet time covering the ''doings'' of Upton and Zimmerman.....and maybe the occasional report on the weight of Bruce Rondon.

What does the ranking of the farm system have to do with the fact the Tigers have 23 roster spots locked up? The Dodgers have the best farm in baseball.. how many roster spots do they have on the bubble?

That prediction is probably the stupidest one i have seen yet. Not even the win/loss of the tigers... The fact they have the rays winning the same amount as the yankees and indians... The a's will not be the worst team in the al... The entire thing is pretty retarded actually.

Detroit 4th? Maybe not - but I don't expect that 82-80 W/L record to be that far off. Add another 4 wins and move them up a couple of slots.

When I look at pre-season predictions, I always lean towards the ones, that in the past two years, predicted the Royals NOT to make it to the World Series. I know those prognosticators have their shit together and know what they are talking about.

If not the As, who? Balmer?

I'm not into predictions before teams play catch, but I don't like either of those teams this year.

Shittiest team in the AL will be the Twins. Their rotation and bullpen is total shit. Only reason they are projected to do anything is the record from last year that was total dumb luck. Only way the Twins aren't the worst is if a team gets hit with injuries like last years Tigers.

Seriously though... The White Sox are a solid team... But having the most wins in the AL? USA Today is smoking crack.

Vegas line has the Tigers at 85 wins. None of this means shit before a spring training pitch has been thrown.

I am on record as also saying the Twins are a last-place team, at least in the AL Central. Throw out that one ridiculous, flukey home stretch they had last year (something like 16 or 17 wins in 20 home games), and their record was well under .500.

The AL is the parity league. 85 or 86 wins might be good enough to take a division or a wild card spot. The NL has the strongest - and the weakest - teams, so I expect a couple of 100 game winners showing up there.

KIND OF BORING........

I have no problem with a boring spring training. It means the players expected to contribute are staying healthy.
