A mellow fellow
Sure glad he came here. Made some great runs along with some great throws. I wish him the best in the future, maybe someone will pick him up in free agency. I think in the right system, with several years to learn a playbook behind a seasoned veteran, he could be a solid NFL QB. He just needs to learn when to throw it away or tuck it and run. That's really the only major flaw in his game. He played stellar after the Arkansas game. He reminds me a lot of Brett Favre, being able to make plays and throws that leave you thinking "I didn't think he could do that", and being able to handle the big game pressure, as well as taking multiple hits but staying strong throughout the game. And like Favre, he loves his duck hunting. Southern born and southern bred.
I've always had the Bears as my favorite team in the NFL, never really liked the Packers. But Brett Favre was my favorite player growing up. It was hard to root against him, except when he played the Bears of course.
