He separated his shoulder during the first game of the 2008 season. The Steelers went on the win the SB that year. But different story that time. The defense could carry the offense, and the offense had to score just 15-20 points. This defense sucks.
They are a lot better than they were early in the season. Things have gelled and they are doing what they can to cover up Blake. Getting Boykin on the field has been big for the defense. Defense isn't a liability in the 2nd half of the season, at least. And they are actually a good takeaway defense, which is a bonus against this version of Manning.

Losing Brown hurts for sure.

But the 2 they have left, Bryant and Wheaton, along with Miller should still be pretty good if Ben can actually throw the ball.

That is true. Although Brown is their best WR, Pittsburgh does have a strong group of receivers.

Brown was pretty much unstoppable against Denver a few weeks ago, so the Broncos definitely catch a break that he won't play this week.

That is the only hope. Although, this defense has been average at best on the road.

It took a completely healthy Ben and Brown, and be perfect with the passes and routes, to beat the Broncos, at home.

This time it's in Denver, with 50% of the offense.

He is in stage 4 of the protocol, stage 5 being full physical contact. IF the Steelers win (by some miracle) then Brown will play in the AFCCG.

To add to this, a lot of the Denver defense was really hoping to see Pittsburgh again. They are pretty motivated to show that game was a fluke and not indicative of how good they really are. Now obviously they won't get the chance to show that against a full strength Steelers offense, but I'd imagine they're still pretty amped up to shut the Steelers down.

The last time I can remember the Broncos looking forward to a playoff rematch like this was in 1998. We played at Miami late in the regular season, and they beat us 31-21 and held Terrell Davis to about 30 yards rushing. Everyone kept talking about how they wanted Miami in the playoffs, and sure enough we faced them in the second round. Davis went for 199 and the Broncos won 38-3.

And Jesus continues to love the Patriots, as the Path just gets easier and easier

Pats have a pretty solid recent history of trashing the Steelers regardless of who is playing. I'd like to see J. Houston, D. Johnson, and Eric Berry ruled out for tomorrow though.

And Ben has been ruled out, too.

Denver should rest their starters for the second half. Get as much rest as they can get for the AFCCG.
