Chip Kelly just traded away the niners best 3 players...oh wait...nevermind...they didnt have any for him to trade

How in the hell is Chip supposed to work his magic if he doesn't have talented players to ship out of town? The Ninners need more cap space dammit....

He could save Krapernicks career.

He's a coach, not a brain surgeon. Nothing can save DumbDumb's career.

I always liked Kelly, but if he keeps Kaepernick, I may have to hire an a77a77in.

...Not seriously FBI. Just hyperbole.

Luckily for all of the 49ers good players they all retired/left a year ago, so no one for Chip to get rid of...:thumb:

Chip Kelly did a good job everywhere he coached expect this past season. He had too much power and a poor QB who did not fit his system at all. Now he has the perfect QB for his system and he has a defensive minded GM picking the players for defense. The defense was not the problem for the 49ers this past season though they do need a replacement for Willis and Aldon. The just need a better system and offensive line on the right side. With Davis coming back to play RT or RG they only really need a new LG if Boone leaves in free agency.

The 49ers have a ton of cap space this free agent period and will fix their problems.
Ummm...who? Kaep? Seriously?

I give him and Baalke two years before both are kicked to the curb.

Kelly had a little bit of success early because of the newness of his system and the fact that it always take NFL teams 1-2 years to figure out how to stop something new. That period is over. And the fact that he just graduated to a much more competitive division from what was probably the worst division in football over the last 3 seasons isn't going to help either.

Luckily for the Niners, Kelly isn't the GM (either in title or duties). He didn't even want the GM duties (not title) in Philly, but he essentially had to take over when they got rid of Tom Gamble.

Kaep and Hyde are going to be pretty tough to figure out early on in that read option of Kelly's.

It is the only chance he has of success IMO. If he can recreate the success in the running game he had during his first season in the league. It is going to take a lot of luck to get there. That SF OL is a power style of running attack (especially if Davis comes back) that really doesn't fit Kelly's style. So he is going to have to do a lot of work in that area.

Not much more you can do to dismantle this franchise so Chip fits right in, ... Hmm, wait a minute there ...

That's the silver lining. Really, I don't think it's ever a good idea for a coach to be a GM too. The jobs are mutually exclusive.

Well that was a quick hire. Does this mean the Niners just ignored the Rooney rule?
