Heh. That might be the only thing better than having Chip Kelly staying on as HC of the Eagles.

What's his problem? The guy is approaching 70. Shouldn't he be enjoying his grandchildren and the millions of dollars he got from the Redskins and Broncos? Go figure.

By the way, are you from So Cal?

Sorry guys, but I dont want to see Shannahan in Philly. Especially if they manage to hire a competent GM to go along with a competent coach.

Shannahan the GM sucks. But Shannahan the coach, could turn out to be a pain in the ass for us. NO thanks.

Can you imagine him getting the job and prying Cuz away from us because we didn't use the exclusive franchise tag on him? Hmmm . . .

Dude if we dont resign Cousins at this point, its one persons call. I dont think it would be a matter of prying him away so much as some one in the FO not named Scot saying we should let Kirk test the waters while we dick around looking at what we should do.

Agreed. Scot should be lining up an offer for him as soon as the Redskins season is over. There's been speculation that Cuz will push things up to the beginning of the new league year and/or demand that RGIII get cut first, but that's just a bunch of guessing at this point.

Any deal with KC most likely will dictate that RG3 is gone. They will re sign him, just a matter of how much and how long.

I highly doubt any deal for KC will be contingent on the Redskins cutting RG3. For starters, KC's numbers speak for themselves. Secondly, RG3 hasn't made any noise whatsoever in the locker room all year long.

Cousins is going to get paid. Period. Big time. By the REDSKINS. Any other move would be absolutely ridiculous.
RG3 will either be traded for a seventh rounder (doubtful), or released outright (likely).

GMSM WILL get it done.

The better KC does, the more Shannahan's stock rises. If he wants to coach, I bet he lands a job.

I thought he was still interviewing with Miami?

Word has leaked that the main reason Shannahan got fired was because he wanted to start Kirk. And the problem with saying MS gets a better look based on Kirks performance is... no one is going to hire Mike the GM.

Cousins is having a good year but he isn't irreplaceable.

OK so as an outsider... give me an option that

1. Wont cost the teams right nut to acquire in the draft ( we gave up the left one in 2012 already)
2. Wouldnt be simply a place holder while we look for a medium to long term solution
3. Wouldnt set the team back to where we were going into 2013??

Hey, you guys got a great outlet mall! Any Redskins groups out in the High Desert?

Heh @ great outlet mall. It was pretty sweet at one time. Its dying a slow death now though. I have a few homies that are Skins fans, but the 2 closest big groups I know of is one down in LA and another within a Native American tribe, the Timbisha Shoshone, out near Death Valley. I have a son with a babe who's from that tribe.

The Skins would have to put the Franchise tag on Cousins or overpay him for one credible year as the starting QB. Is it worth taking that gamble?
