Hey J.

Maybe the Walman injury will open things up for Chabot to make the team. It sounds like he's been playing well fro you guys (I've only seen highlights). It's be nice to see a Sens prospect in the WJHC for team Canada.

Here's hoping Chabot pans out liek the last Sea Dog Ottawa picked. Some guy named Hoffman. He's been alright for us.
On pace for 48 goals. The fuck did this guy come from?!

He's done this in every league. He starts slow (cut by the Kitchener Rangers, then 48 points in 62 games in the Q; followed by 7 goals in 74 games for Bingo in this first AHL season), then he "figures out" that league and tears it up (52 and 46 goal seasons in the Q; finally 67 points in 51 AHL games before getting called up).

I don't think he's going to dominate the show like he has the lower leagues but I think he'll be a perenial 30 goal scorer. His wheels and shot are world class.

I think it was jstew who was asking for the US team roster - Preliminary roster can be found by clicking the link below (Brock Boeser has been included) and the team's development camp will be held in Boston.

Jackets have put 4 in camp for shots at the USA roster.

Weresnki, Bittner, Collins and Milano.

And Tkachuk, Matthews and (Fucking superstar) Bellows are all draft eligible in places where the Jackets are likely to be picking!

Cuts today for Team Canada, biggest being Dal Colle and Chychrun.

Dal Colle being cut isn't much of a surprise. He was part of the early cuts from Isles camp this year too. The writing is on the wall dude, improve your skating.

Might be premature, but maybe the Isles should've sold high on him in the summer.

Kinda crazy that Aaron Ekblad is still eligible for Team Canada.

/Don't think the Panthers will release him (lol)

Everything I read on him said his skating was a major factor. Hopefully this doesn't turn into another Reinhart situation but if it does, I think we can maybe see him getting dealt.

MDC/Hamonic for RNH/Kelf???

FWIW, skating was the issue for Draisaitl last year and he's skating circles around guys now. It can be fixed, just needs the right training/trainer and the will of the player.

Who's Kelf?
