Might be premature, but maybe the Isles should've sold high on him in the summer.

He's 19 & was young for his draft class. There's no reason to give up on him yet. Heck Snow made a great trade with Edmonton for Reinhart & Dal Colle hasn't played a single game in the AHL yet. Patience isn't a bad thing.

Not saying he can't be saved or anything, more that dealing him could've filled a need. Now dealing him wouldn't have the same impact, if that does wind up being the path the Isles choose to take which would be prudent given their current position in the standings.

Tough to evaluate Mason Macdonald on today's game as he didn't see much rubber, he made a couple of nice saves though and only allowed the one PP marker.
