Week 14: Bears vs Redskins GAME THREAD

Creating an actual game thread to switch up the mojo.

This is an utterly pathetic performance. I can't believe this team is sleep walking at home for the second straight week vs a mediocre team.

After one quarter, this game is approaching that "unwatchable" territory.

This is looking like last years theme... Go down early by poor defense. Get a decent drive going to potentially cut the lead- and get blindsided sack fumble.
This could be a long day. Hopeful that Fox and company can pull them out of it.

Blowing the game in horrific fashion last week obviously knocked the team for a loop. They look extremely flat today. The sad thing is Cutler is throwing the ball well today, but it doesn't matter one bit because the Bears look so outmatched. Hopefully they'll be a different team in the 2nd half.

Willie Young has been our best defensive player for quite a few weeks now. Hard to believe we were talking about trading him in September, because he "didn't fit" the scheme.

Well, the D has been showing some energy the past two drives. Would the offense mind showing up?

They should be utterly ashamed of the way they played at home this season.

I truly don't understand what has happened to this team over the past two weeks. They were headed in such a nice trajectory, and have just plummeted.

Sorry for being negative, but this team has some qualities that are just sickening and it's hard to smile until the clock hits 0:00 and you have a win.

You're preaching to the wrong guy about Cutler. I've been a huge fan since day 1 and always will be.

However, it's not like I'm just not going to mention him missing key deep throws on consecutive weeks.

I can't blame you. It's frustrating. The Bears have blown several games in horrific fashion this year. They could be right in the thick of the playoff race. But the positive is that they're in every single game, which is a change from last year. They're making major progress under Fox and I'll be shocked if Fox doesn't have them in the playoffs next season.
