He still wont give KC any credit after this win calling the Giants defense soft. Hey Louis the 500K QB just outplayed the 20 million QB. How come you didn't mention that in your critique of the game? What an ass. How do you not give KC credit for yesterday. When are these so called analyst going to realize the KC is the real deal for this team.

Understood but he outplayed a 20 million dollar super bowl winning QB. Why no respect?

This would indicate that he is taking strides in the right direction:
Over the past five weeks, Cousins has been sensational. In that span he has completed 117 of 164 passes (71 percent) for 1,467 yards -- averaging 293 yards per game and a gaudy 8.95 yards per attempt --with 10 touchdowns and just two interceptions. That’s a rating of 114, folks. On the season, he is approaching 3,000 yards with 16 touchdowns, 10 picks, and a solid rating of 91.7.

KC is making strides to be sure but he still has to prove a few things . the national media needs to see more . right now as redskins fans we should be thrilled with the job he is doing and the progress he is making

I will say what i have said all along. If we come out of this season not looking to draft a QB high or scrambling to over pay a FA QB, this season was a complete success. If we end up with a guy who can man the position for the next three years or more, Kirk exceeded most peoples expectations. At which point he might actually get some respect from the national media.

Who cares what the media says? For those of us that watch daily, we know that KC, while not yet a finished product, is growing and improving. Where he tops out is anyone's guess and for those that say he isn't starter material for many teams in this league, I think you will be proven wrong. Most impressive is the fact that he is turning into a leader on this team, as evidenced by the positive quotes by teammates on both offense and defense. They see him everyday and the believe in him.

While I agree that Louis Riddick is a gigantic asshole, I also agree with what j_y19 states: who cares what the national media says?

The facts are that KC is exceeding expectations (that were incredibly low to begin with), as are the Redskins (who also had very low expectations).

They've already exceeded last year's win totals, are DEFINITELY NOT going to lose all five games they have left on their schedule, and have a better than 50-50 shot at winning a crappy division with 8 wins, thereby punching their ticket to the Big Dance.

CBS, ESPN, Bleacher Report, et al can ALLL enjoy a huge glass of STFU, while KC turns in better-than-expected performance after better-than-expected performance all the way to the playoffs.

Lavar Arrington reportedly said the Redskin defense has been carrying them all year. True story. How this guy continues to find work still amazes me.

Arrington is still a bitter a-hole who will never let go of his resentment towards the Redskins. Maybe some day he will realize that it was actually his moronic agents who screwed him over. He and that fat turd on the radio are just blowhards. As the Redskins hopefully make the transition over the next few years to a good team it will be nice seeing some of these loudmouths disappear.

Arrington is national now and no longer local but that being said he seems to still be mad at Dan. He wasn't so mad until he lost the key to the Ivory Tower.

I understand that & realize that he no longer works with that fat clown. I was just pointing out that both national and local DC media types seem to have made a living off being Skins haters. It will get pretty tough on them if the team starts obtaining success.

Poston Brothers Becoming NFL Laughingstock

Yep & again one of his agents admitted that he didn't actually read the entire contract which is unforgivable for an agent. Remember it was two guys - Poston brothers. See the above for more info on these fools.

Here is an excerpt from that article related to Arrington:

The case of Redskin linebacker LeVar Arrington is positively amazing. Arrington is claiming that he was cheated out of a $6.5 million roster bonus. The Redskins claim that no such roster bonus exists in his contract. The Postons came out and admitted that they hadn't read that part of Arrington's contract.

An anonymous NFL 'insider' used the word 'moron' in describing Arrington. How then would you describe the Postons for making this kind of error? Start with 'negligent' and 'derelict' and go on from there.

Well it's not like the Redskins management hasn't given them plenty of material to work with.

LaVar was an ass0 no question. Anyone remember Marvin Lewis saying LA could've had 27 sacks in Marv's one n done year as Def Co, but he rarely did what he was assigned to do on a play. LA did what LA wanted to do, or as he put it during a FOX interview with all 3 starting Redskin LBs that same year (2002), "A balla's gotta be a balla."

But......Gibbs and GW seriously fucked Lavar in 2004 after he was injured against Chicago in week 1. Making him come back to play in week 13 or some shit against the 9ers where LA was promptly injured again. They also fucked Antonio Pierce (by playing hardball contract-wise) and OLB Lamar Marshall by moving his too small 225 pound self to MLB after Pierce signed with NY.

The biggest ass0 in DC where it concerns the Skins was Daniel Snyder from 2000 - till Gibbs took over. Then in 2008 right after Gibbs left and up till Shanny's arrival. His triflin ass set a whole bunch of dominoes into fucked up motion.

Shit, homey. I'd hate the fuckin Skins too if I wasn't a fan. Ass backwards, nonsensical owner, people with total control treating the Skins, the draft, FA, like some real life fantasy football bullshit. Splashy off-season signings every year giving FAs and/or traded for players outrageous contracts. While fucking blue collar FAs and their own drafted players. Cash motherfuckin shit talkin fans during their few seasons of success in the 2000s. The handling of the name controversy.

Hell, I'm a diehard Redskins 43 years and counting and the only reason I haven't quit this mothafucker is cuz I can't. So for the vast majority of the last 20 years and definitely all throughout the 2000s. I been in love with a bitch (the Redskins) I can't fuckin stand.

All the Skins do is play with my emotions. Even in the the recent past of making the postseason. 99, 2005, 2007 and 2012. The very next year, someway, somehow, they manage to fuck it all up again. Especially the 2005 team as they had a legit shot to become a legit organization again, but Gibbs, freakin Joe Gibbs! The GREATEST Redskin in history bar none. Arguably the greatest HC is NFL history. Is the one who fucked it all up. Then the most electric player in Redskins history in Griffin goes and does it in 2013 all because he's a arrogant and triflin ass hard-head who refused to protect himself.

This is cursed by a gypsy women who had a tattoo of an eye on her left tittie and it winked at me level shit.

I hear you & share a lot of your thoughts. That is why I was truly excited during the past offseason. I truly believe that the signing of SM as GM was the biggest move by the Redskins since the start of Gibbs II. You are already seeing the result of this change at this time & this is just the beginning. Even if they fall short for the remainder of the season you are seeing progress & things that were not in place in the recent past.

The team appears to be past the infighting & they are primarily not dealing with aging players who provide us with little to no hope for the future. Pretty much all of things that you mention in your first paragraph (except for the part @ the fans & trust me that crap happens in every city - even the ones like DC where it is not warranted) are not at work this season & there are signs that they might go away for quite a while (only time will tell).

We might actually be on the verge of a time where it will actually be good to be a Redskins fan. HTTR
