From your lips to God's ear.

Honestly - moving forward the Redskins might be in the best position of any NFC-E team (talking about longer term - not simply this season). They certainly have a better GM than either the Boys or the Eagles. They don't have aging or horrible QBs like the other teams. They have made enough mistakes in the recent past to perhaps remind them to not do things in an ill advised manner & this is especially true since actual football people are now running the show.

Being Redskins fans a lot of us are going to expect nothing but the worst. However - for the first time in a while there are actual positive signs for this team and best of all I have seen no evidence of Snyder meddling for quite some time.

Yeah, no question a playing the back of the bus Snyder is the best possible Snyder to have. KC deserves some props for that as well. Its been a while since we've seen anything other than below adequate QBing. That's what I mean about playing with my emotions. By nature I'm a positive person for the most part and can rationalize eveything up to game time.

No question - I am the same way. In this type of forum & a few days removed from actual games I am pretty upbeat & positive. However - if you looked at my texts from game day you would pretty much see a different person & a lot of it is far from positive.

We have been conditioned to being negative & expecting the worst (who can blame anyone). Just imagine being a Pats fan or fan of a consistently good team - you always expect the best. Someday......

God knows I'm the voice of gloom and doom when it comes to the Redskins but really think SoCal is on to something. I do think our GM is way better than the 2 mentioned and we do have the best QB option in the division moving forward other than NY. And nobody is confusing Penguin Boy with his brother.

What was the Penguin Boy reference?

Eli Manning dubbed 'Penguin Boy' in hilarious closed-captioning mishap

Heard Jerrah talking about having his QB for the next 5 years. (he was being pressed about have you waited to long to address this issue) That would make a frequently hurt Romo older than the oldest QB in the league this year. Hard to believe Eli will be 35 in January. Philly does what at QB? So if Cousins continues to be improve we could be in the best position at QB.

Jerrah has always been my favorite non Redskin GM. Why? Because he sucks at it. Chip "I have a better idea" Kelly has stripped his team of all of it's talent. Giants have a QB for the next 2 or 3 years but they are trying to rebuild also. Most of that great Dline they had is gone and JPP can't count as high as he used to.

If Dan continues to let Scot do his thing and as far as I am concerned we get some more continuity with Jay Gruden. The next 3 or 4 years might be something to look forward to. Lets hope so. HTTR!!!! :hope::hope::hope:

I heard that too or somewhere else yesterday and thought that was a stretch, at least in style right now. I think the kid is developing and if we are lucky that will be the case for the next couple of years. It would be so nice to not be looking for our next QB for a change. I liked that the players told him "this is your team, and told him to be the leader."
