if Jamal Murray keeps playing the way he's been playing for Kentucky so far, Philly might be able to grab him early in the draft.

Then again, it's Philly. They'll probably find ways to suck even with the loaded frontcourt they have (yes, I consider Noel, Okafor and an injured Embiid to be loaded).

Saric, Noel, Okafor, Embiid, Sixers lotto pick, Lakers lotto pick.....

it looks like their "asset collection" stage is almost complete. After that- the GM has to mold all those assets (and all the other additional slew of picks they have) into a real team that works well together and makes sense.

Should be interesting...Saric will play SF right?

I expect the Cavs to come out hungry tonight against the Bucks at home and keep their perfect home record in-tact. Should be interesting. I feel we are getting VERY CLOSE to a Kyrie sighting....I think Thanksgiving weekend we shall see Kyrie bless us with his presence on the court.

James plays 40 M against Pistons, the whole 4th qtr, has a pretty shitty 4th qtr, and then calls out the team after the game (while excluding himself).

He's missed a ton of FT's and his outside shooting % is falling to levels of new lows.

Can't wait for the implosion...

if this team didnt implode after a 19-20 start with Kevin Loves free agency in the back ground, and David Blatts job constantly on the line- I HIGHLY DOUBT an 8-3 start WHILE THE WHOLE STARTING BACK COURT is missing is going to create an "implosion"

an "implosion" is being predicted to be a pretty solid team and then winning 37 games in the East.

Anyway, the Heat has 3 titles in the past decade and we had a rough summer/season last year.

That's not an implosion because it wasn't unexpected once James left ( after FA was basically done).


One year later, were already up trending , and now have some nice young talent as well
as the monster in the middle.
Very fun team to watch most of the time.

Doesn't that apply to a big % of players in the league?
The man IS getting paid, despite all of the negatives things you bring up from his past unless he does something REAL stupid.

Remember the 'Whiteside All Star Thread', and how you said his last years numbers were a fluke/small sampling size?

I would say he's exceeded them so far...wouldn't you?

Nice game for the Cavs. They had a decent lead and control of that game from start to finish pretty much. They looked pretty locked in. Love played great. Delly had 13 assists-

Mo Williams didnt play and is day to day, and Mozgov only played 11 minutes because his knee still isnt 100% from offseason surgery.

Its a good thing the Cavs have as much depth as they do. Hopefully Blatt will give Varejao some run finally- he played GREAT when he was in tonight. Mozgov is not quite right- give him a week off and give Andy some run. 20 minutes a night is fine.

The Bucks just have such crazy length- but good shooting will beat that- and luckily for the Cavs- the Bucks are a pretty poor 3pt shooting team. That is a nice advantage to have.

Interesting writeup by McMenamin on Mozgov's struggles this year and LeBron's changing tactics on how to lead him. LeBron said he didn't even know about Mozgov's procedure on his knee during the summer time early in the season. Once he found out about it and that it was impacting his play... I guess he eased up.

yah I saw that. Its pretty evident his knee is bugging him. Lets hope Blatt gets a clue and plays Varejao more minutes, and maybe we have a Sasha Kaun sighting or two- while Mozgov gets some rest....especially since I think KI is going to be back soon.

I think we saw the start of Varejao getting minutes over Mozgov last night. I agree that I hope he keeps that up for awhile.
