Well, you know I was a Mudiay fan before he went to China.

Kid can be a Star once he calms his ass down.

Here are my thoughts on Russell:

It's to early to judge.

DeAngelo is trying to play within the system. Because the Lakers are in a weird state of getting the youngins some burn, playing the vets if the games are winnable, he has a smaller margin for error.

Mudiay can, and has, turned the ball over 11 times per game and doesn't have to fear the hook because his only competition is Jameer Nelson.

We are in the Steph Curry era.

So, you take the guy that can shoot over the one who can't every time.

Once the game slows down, his shot will fall and he will be fine.

Seriously, if I'm the Lakers I'd let the young guys go for it.

My motto would be:

Pau? I agree that they should pay him especially with Noah off the books and the cap going up. But if I'm them, I don't go over 2 years with a team option for a 3rd year. He's still playing at a high level, but he's getting old.

Yeah, and not even necessarily about landing a top spot in the lottery (although I wouldn't hate that). If I thought this team had any shot at the playoffs, I'd be all about playing the vets. But they don't, so let the kids play so they can learn more quickly.

Heard about him but I haven't seen any college hoops this season.
