It definitely made/makes a ton of sense. Like I said though after the TE's really came alive this last game I thought maybe the team would decide against it. Just adds another weapon though to an already loaded team.

If I remember rightly, blocking wasn't a problem for Vernon.

Very nice pick up - very nice price. The Broncos got better. I think using the TEs last night - probably helped the Broncos bargaining position.

Well 3 49ers fans on their board just responded to my question on his blocking ability and they all said he was a big part of why they could run the ball so well when Harbaugh was coach. So that is great to hear that we are getting a great all-around TE. Not probably the receiving threat that Julius was but if he can help out in the pass and run game then man this could help this offense really go to another level.

Davis is still faster than 99/100 LBs in the league. Davis and Green lined up will leave the defense confused about who to cover.

I'm hoping DT can finally have a good game against him. Davis seems to be the one corner that just completely eliminates him.

Solidifies a rock solid TE corp. We really are going all out for this year. He'll be able to stretch things up the seem more than Green or Daniels, so he'll provide yet another element to the offense that will have to be protected against.

If Manning really got his mojo back last night, we're going to be scary good. Can't wait to get New England here!
