I actually expect he will stay. The Broncos still have 9 OL players on the 53-man roster. Sambrailo just has been on the non-active list. The Broncos though want to be able to run more 2 and 3 TE's type sets and for that it is always nice to have that 4th player that they can look to when needed in case of injury. Have to remember that both Green and Davis have big injury histories over the last few years so I look for them to keep Gordon for insurance.

It could be true. There is a chance that Vernon Davis is inactive for a couple of weeks as he gets caught up on the playbook.

That would surprise me. I expect him to be activate this week. If he needs a week fine, but if the ole vet needs multiple weeks to learn the playbook we are in trouble. We can simplify the playbook for him until then and then his reps can pick up in a week or two when he has it down.

They were just talking about it this morning with Joel Dreessen and he seemed to suggest that would be the way the Broncos will do it. I am with you though in I would say have him work on say 20 plays for this upcoming game. Have him memorize that many in the playbook then when those plays are going to be used in the game have him come in. Then just add a little each week. His physical abilities need to be on the field though.

He will be on the roster. That is not the question. The question is will he be part of the Active 46 man roster or will he be one of those 8 that is inactive on game day.

V Davis - it doesn't matter which plays he learns - the defense has to respect him. Even if he starts as a decoy for Green or Daniels - he will have added something - he probably doesn't need much to stay in and block from the TE position.

Well right now he has been targeted 29 times this season and only has one drop. I'm hoping that continues.

One of my favorite Buffs - Daniel Graham had the drops too.

VD will likely have the drops with the Broncos - he is joining the right offense to empathize with that problem. If I am not mistaken - VD will be a role player - the beauty of these Denver Broncos - is neither Davis or Manning, or Von Miller, DT, Sanders, or elements of the Defense has to make the Broncos win - it could come from anywhere on the field at any time. Playing with this team - takes the pressure off you to try an over achieve - it is easier to play within yourself in this environment.

I actually have high hopes for Huerman and think Virgil is going to keep improving. Doubt VD is a Broncos next yr but if we do keep him and Daniel's next yr we would be in great shape at Te IMO anyway. I hope they go heavy on O line. Not that I don't think the current guys can be very good still but sure would be nice to get some young guys that can have chance to develop before thrown to the wolves. Guess it depends on which positions suffer the most in the cap battle that is sure to rear its ugly head next yr.
