To me anyway this has a 50/50 shot at being a good move. If Davis is close to what he was in 2013, he has the potential to really add a much needed red zone threat from the te spot and if the speed is still there he can be very dangerous deep over the middle as well. I like the addition,esp for this season to help bring a SB trophy to Denver and possibly Mannings last yr but I'm also not doing any back flips until I see what VD were getting either.

Just listened to Mooch and Brian Belick on Total Access and their 100% that this trade makes Denver a viable SB favorite now. They really,really liked this move for Broncos. Hmnn.. " I like that! ".

I would rate it a higher chance of success -than 50/50 - because VD does not have to be the star - just a missing piece - he is much more valuable to the Broncos than the 9ers.

Interesting. His production has fallen off the past two seasons. Maybe he rebounds in Denver.

I think his production falling off had a lot to do with Krapperdick throwing him the ball, (or not throwing him the ball).

Sure looks like the car dealer won in this negotiation. Even if it's only for the rest of this year, it was worth a 6th rounder this year. I say that as the 7th we receive in 2016 is an even swap for the 6th we give up in 2017.
