He's never played enough games to prove it, but maybe they will figure out that Cousins is what he is...a 8-8 to 9-7 QB. I can't blame them, but WAS is so desperate for stability at QB...they can overlook his short comings for now.

He's the best chance to win, so I don't blame them. At least they have the balls to stick with him. "if you have two starting QB's then you have no starting QB's" is so true. 8-8 isn't what the Skins need though. If they can win the East, then go all out. I don't think they can. So they should be aiming for a top pick and draft a QB.

East...this year, with DAL injury situation and PHI not being what we thought they we going to be, NYG being somewhat short handed on OFC...the DIV is more or less wide open...as long as Cousins isn't making the big mistake to lose games...they will be in the hunt.

Fools Gold...that was my point...if they go 9-7 and they somehow win the DIV or get into the playoffs I can see WAS thinking maybe they have found their QB...maybe they look later in the draft to replace RG3 as the backup instead of a long term starter..

Thanks for saying we have the best line in the NFL. Truth though is that without a competent QB back there they just have too much to overcome.

Don't feel bad that we were able to bench a QB that is better than your starter, and have an unquestionably better QB coming back in a few weeks. Not everyone is smart enough to not trade multiple years worth of picks away for a college phenom. Actually I guess everyone is except Danny Boy and Ditka.

1. None of the teams in this division are elite.
2. If i had to hedge a bet right now, i think NY or Philly wins the division because Dallas and Washington have no real solution at QB.

3. I agree that Cousins is a career backup, but has the potential to change that over the next few weeks.
4. Who ever wins this division is likely a one and done because NONE of the teams are all that healthy and all have serious holes.

5. Dallas will be back in the dark ages ( See Quincy Carter years ) within a season or two because Jerry is hard pressed in the win now mode before he is too old and senile and his son takes the team or sells it.

6. It has got to burn some arses that Washington in an admitted rebuilding year is a game out of first place, but I seriously expect them to come back down to earth after the Pats steam roll them.

7. Despite all that, I still love seeing the look on the Dallas fans at the work face's every Monday morning the past few weeks.

Yeah, most Dallas fans did expect to be in first. And we were until two major injuries happened. So we have a reason for sucking, it isn't like we are just under-achieving. It doesnt' really matter if we are 3 games out as we will have at least a split with two of our division opponents and should be full strength for both meetings with the Skins. So I do hope that you win your games against NYG and PHL. It makes it easier for us to win the division when we sweep you.

As for the bonus question, no idea. But I know that in a couple of weeks we will have a better QB. How about the skins?
