First - I don't think this trade will work - or that Forte while an upgrade is needed, but watch them trade Osweiler for Forte.

I feel it will be hard for Fox to help the team that canned him a year removed from the Super Bowl.

We will see if the Bears let him continue making decisions.

This trade has single digit possibilities of happening - iMO.

Let me throw another name out there that I heard today that I think could be a bigger impact than that of Forte. Martellus Bennett. Because our TE's don't have the greatest speed defenses have had an easier time staying in their base package meaning instead of an extra corner on the field it is an extra linebacker. Well obviously for the run game you would much rather have a Corner than a Linebacker. Bennett would be a guy that would make defenses have to really rethink that strategy as he has the size and speed to do something down the field. Throw in he isn't the worst blocker in the world and would give us depth at a position that we are severely lacking any quality depth. Throw in his cap hit would be a bit lower than that of Forte meaning we wouldn't be in as much cap hell with this signing.

Although I think Forte is too talented not to pick up any offensive scheme pretty fast, I agree that rb is not the problem and that any rb back there would struggle to be consistent until that O-line starts getting their shit together and starts pushing guys off the line of scrimmage, etc. The problem and the answer for Denver to improve the dismal running game they`ve showed so far, is all on the O-line improving their play.

During the Lions game, it was mentioned that Virgil Green actually had a faster 40 time than Julius Thomas, and while I realize that combine times can be misleading, I do think we have done a disservice to Virg so far with this offense ..

Virgil Green is a good blocker, and I think we need to find a way to involve him more in the passing game .....

Yeah I heard that too and although I " believe " Virgil is capable of making plays for them and be given ample opportunities, speed doesn't always translate into getting separation and maybe that's what's hindering Virgil in getting more opportunities in the passing game. The ball comes out of Mannings hand so quickly most of the time that it could be Virgil struggles to get separation that fast. IDK?

Don't want Forte at all. Don't touch this defense at all. Denver has the RB's that are more then capable. Just need this o line to get it going. If they want a RB wait for the draft not a guy that's 30 years old.

Actually don't want anyone from the Bears period. Nothing they have will help.
