Stubbs is 2-3, and Rua homered tonight. I don't care which, but bring one of them up for Strausborger. I never understood why he was the one we brought up anyways.
What exactly was the strategy? Our pitching strategy for the Jays this series was way off. Too many walks and they still hit a ton of home runs. We would have been better off just attacking their hitters and been aggressive instead of trying to get them to swing at crap.
Haha. He already has.Scheppers took over for Faulkner in the 10th. I'm sure it won't take long for him to leave his mark on it.
Haha. He already has.
He gave up 2 runs.Doesn't surprise me at all. Tanner is ruined.

Ariel Jurado improves his record to 12-0 tonight and lowers his ERA to 2.34 for Hickory. He is 19. His WHIP is now 1.01.
Probably would be best to just let go of the ex-Padre we just picked up.That is why the callup may happen but we will have to lose someone with the new ExPadre just added.
BTW guys, Stubbs has only a minor league deal. He is not gonna get called up yet but yes Strausborger was a failed act tonight as well as the game as a whole. Looked like a AAA squad against the Jays.
Could not watch after the slam
I wonder if he goes directly to Frisco next year to avoid pitching for High Desert?Guy knows how to pitch, not much fastball (low 90s) but it's got a lot of movement and his changeup is pretty advanced for a young pitcher, has a potentially above average slider in time
Been paying attention to him this year, could advance quickly if he gains better command of his fastball and slider and continues developing his changeup
Probably would be best to just let go of the ex-Padre we just picked up.
I don't see much hope in Stubbs. Might as well keep Straus. Now if they do get Austin Jackson then maybe he is the guy who replaces Straus.
Very impressive. Hope it translates into positive MLB numbers. We have had plenty of guys called up that did great at AAA and fell flat on their faces once called up.
