You just he can't be replaced, and he wants max or near max.

So is he either:

A. Worth it. Why won't Gilbert just pay him... We can't replace him

or

B. Not worth it. Let him walk. We already have enough cash tied up at that position.

And denying what?
I've ALL ALONG said he wasn't worth it, but James has Gilbert's nuts in a wrench.

uhhh the Buckeyes were obviously the superior team....as they have the Rings.......a TEAM is more than a collection of individuals-

A lesson you learned that night.

Dorsey bro? lol.

Buckeyes won the game, but NO WAY on earth did they have the better team.

I believe that losing team was probably the greatest team, talent wise, to ever step on a CFB field.

Are you really this dumb? YOU--- YOURSELF- have already stated on here that you just cant let Thompson go and replace him. It obviously does not work like that while you are already over the cap. ITs not- let him walk and replace him with 16 million dollars. Have you ever heard of Bird Rights? Are you purposefully being this stupid?

Honestly man. Take the rest of the day off. You are obviously off your game in a big way.

:) PI!!! PI!!!!

Got a ring that day ;) not basketball though obviously.
Enjoy that tainted title. Miami at least won in the last meeting (albet against Fickle or whatever the fuck his name is), but we beat you with our own bum head coach in Golden. I could also post that World Series victory in 97 over the Indians or the three titles that the Heat has to the Cavs zero. But, too lazy.

A great team would have risen to the occasion man. Sorry.

tainted? tainted how? lol....cmon man. Give credit where credit is due. The Bucks were just better in between the lines that day and that is what matters. You just did not have an answer for "Tressell ball".

This. Top to bottom, that roster had numerous 1st round players and there was no excuse for losing. That game should've been reminiscent of the 2001 national title game against Nebraska in the Rose Bowl. Overall, I blame Coker as he later on showed that he was overrated as a coach and benefited greatly from the roster and culture that Butch left him. As soon as Coker's players started taking over, you saw what happened, and Miami hasn't been the same since.

At the end of the day, Buckeyes won the game. Tressell did outcoach Coker, I'll give you that. But that last call was bullshit. But, doing a roster comparision, Miami was by leaps and bounds the more talented team and it shouldn't have even been close. Since Shalala has been in Miami, the football program has been neutered. Glad to see that troll is on her way out.

If those 2 rosters played 100 times, the Canes win 90%+ IMO.
Being a bowl game as a big favorite certainly didn't help us either.
Human nature to relax a bit knowing your big NFL payday was just around the corner.
Bucks did enough, as I said, to be in a position to win, which they did..

But, please, don't act like you expected it.
It was a giant upset.

You're chasing your tails.
I know what I've said.
Never waivered.

So, then why is Gilbert apparently balking?

List of reasons please.

at least the Clippers are having their "moment" in the sun over the last couple years that should extend into the next couple years.

Between CP, Griffin, Doc and DJ- their is no doubt the Clips are the show to see in town.

Yeah...But, the West is gonna be BRUTAL.

So, even with this being the best roster the Clippers have ever had...

They could be a 1st round out.

Oh dear.....

Well, unless they are planning to start Tristan at Center for the rest of his career, that's an awful lot of money to sink into one position.

What's Love's salary starting at?..Like 20mil plus?

Peace out.

Yep. We told Wiggy of this from the getgo, and he said this wouldn't be an issue because Gilbert was willing to pay whatever it took so Cleveland could get its first title. Now, here's the chance for Gilbert to go ahead and give Thompson his money, yet he's not doing it, why? Whether they sign him or not, I believe the Cavs will be over the cap anyway, considering you have to factor Lebron's max contract next season. So....what's the deal? You're not going to be any better if you let Thompson walk, because you can't replace him with equal value.

Someone new is arguing with WiggyRuss every day when I come in here. I love it. I mean, it's warranted. But still, fun to watch.
