Agree but I still think Patton can be a good reliever for us. Trout fouled off some good pitches and with the bases loaded it handcuffs the pitcher some.

Hard not to get your hopes up for him, but he is who he is now. He just isn't the player he was, and I didnt expect him to be close. He will still have a few moments here and there, but there will not be as many of them.

We've talked about this a bunch before. Our baseball IQ is pathetic, and frankly, I'm beginning to wonder if we need to be paying coaches much of anything since no one listens.
