Bannister wasn't trying to win this game bringing Bass in for a second straight day after he pitched yesterday

He threw 31 pitches in 2 innings

4th appearance this week

What do you guys think of the recent ESPN report saying that the Rangers and Dodgers are the favorites to trade for Hamels? Initially, I was against it. I've changed my thinking tho, the team would have Hamels for a few seasons after this one, having Hamels would make Darvish more likely to stay with the team, and being totally honest? The Rangers are playing for next year. They know the team is still pretty banged up. On a side note, I'm sick of competing with the Dodgers for pitchers. You just know they will make a run at Darvish when he is a free agent and those bastards got Greinke when we tried to sign him. If Philadelphia is smart, they will send Hamels here if the offers between the Rangers and Dodgers are comparable. Philly should send him to the AL, so they wouldn't have to face him.

I still think the price is too high on him, for JD to pull the trigger

Why do you pitch that MF'er low and inside? He loves hitting low pitches. This team is dumber than I thought and thats pretty bad
