And there it is right there. Now we know your not looking at Dez with any objectivity.

You just don't like the guy. That's fine. But your bias has completely tainted your evaluation of him.

Has nothing to do with not liking the guy.

I am looking at the facts. He is the only player on the list that would do this:

You have it backwards. This is exactly what happens when there is a bias.
You take one event and attempt to use it to undermine all of the facts that counter your argument.

Brown and Green accidentally clicked Jones though.

Megatron can still get it done but he's boom or bust.

I've seen many WRs do similar things, it's not just Bryant

Name another fact that counters my argument.

So far I have seen he catches a lot of TD's compared to the rest of the guys on the list. That's it.

He hasn't beat the other WR's on this list production so far and he doesn't have more athletic ability than the rest of them.

....and this is Dez we are talking about. It isn't ONE event and as a Cowboy fan you know that. The only reason he was drafted by your team (wisely drafted BTW) was because of numerous events. And there have been numerous events since he got into the league too.

I understand wanting Dez above Jones because of injury. But wanting him above Green, Thomas, Brown or Megtron is just crazy to me. But each their own I guess. I would LOVE Dez on my team....but I would want those other WR's more. That's all we are talking about here.

You are right. I have seen a lot of WR's do that (way too many in fact). But the only one on the list above who would do that is Dez.

Dez is a bit of a head case. We all know this. Tough kid brought up in some terrible circumstances who did amazingly well for himself. But he has his issues (like anyone would coming from where he did). These aren't state secrets I am revealing here.

Ducky I actually just looked up Pro Day/Combine numbers and they are actually pretty comparable. Dez is at the bottom end for speed but otherwise he is right there with most of these guys. In fact compared to Antonio Brown I would say Bryant did better...

Brown
40 time: 4.57
Bench: 13
Vertical: 33 1/2
Broad Jump: 8'9"
3-Cone Drill: 6.98

Bryant
40 time: 4.52
Bench: 14
Vertical: 38
Broad Jump: 11'1"
3-Cone Drill: 7.1

I think Dez, Johnson, potentially Brown could do it as well

In 2011, Ladarius Webb made a statement that Antonio Brown (not Mike Wallace) was the best WR on the Steelers and the most difficult to cover. Steeler fans were outraged. They accused Webb of talking trash. Steeler players used it as bulletin board material.

I think Steeltown owes Webb some apologies.

Maybe so, but I for one never cared for Wallace..... to much of a hot dog. I couldn't stand the fact that he thought he was a one man show, he learned real quick when he left the Burg it's the team and not just his dumb ass.

There is argument to me made for Dez.

He is not even in the top 10 of being targeted and yet has to most TD's
Dez is perpetually double covered and not that anyone noticed but he embraced his role as a decoy last year.

He is without question the best receiver inside the 20. Every opposing team knows single man on Dez inside the 20 is just plain suicide. A jump ball in the end zone? Dez & Johnson seem to be an easy pick.

But at the drop of a hat Dez can make put your foot through your flat screen with his antics. But for the most part he has been pretty well behaved the last 2 years with the exception of few incidents.

Amazing how Andre Johnson fell off so quickly in conversations like this.

If Megatron is the decided #1, then I say #2 has to be Antonio Brown based on production over the past couple years.

If they could remain healthy, the choices would be Jones and Green (followed closely by a 29 yo Johnson).

Dez for sure and it's a toss up between Julio and Megatron for me. My heart is telling me Jones, but my sources are telling me Johnson.
