dude...I have no clue why you let the Heat and Lakers haters get to you. They have all been waiting each game, each round for the Cavs to falter- and predictably- they lose Game 1 to a team that won 67 games, has home court and is healthy- and they act like the sky is falling in Cleveland- when the fact is the Cavs are INFINITELY better positioned going forward than either of those other teams that will be choosing in the lotto.
Shit- there are only 2 teams left playing games right now- As a Cleveland fan this is only the 4th time i have experienced that and i was pretty damn young when the Indians made their runs in '95 and '97. The Cavs still have a shot Sunday to make the first 2 games a resounding success- shit- Smith, Shumpert, Delly and Jones all had poor games- it was bound to happen at some point. Lets see if they can bounce back. - And if they cant- its awesome that the Cavs made it this far because hearing KLove talk about how he has never been more excited for a game than game 1 makes it clear he is back.
Just relax and enjoy it. Only two teams make the Finals- and if it doesnt go our way in the Finals for the first year of this era that was kinda expected (at least by me) and became inevitable with the injuries to Love, Kyrie and Varejao.
shit man. At this time last year we were wondering if Kyrie was even going to resign- and now we just saw Mathew Dellavadova ice the hated Bulls on their home court, sweep the 60+ win Hawks, and took the Warriors to OT in game 1 on their floor. Its been a fucking awesome ride and its not over yet-
LeBron turned 30 in December. Kyrie is 23, Love is 26, Thompson is 24 (or maybe 25....), Shumpert is only 26, Mozgov is 28.....the haters HATE ...and i mean HATE hearing how this is just the beginning for the Cavs. My best advice is just to chill, and block out the hate and enjoy being one of two teams left playing and the journey that got them there!![]()
seriously...this is the freaking beginning man...we are barely through the credits in an absolutely amazing feature film. Do not let a bunch of haters and noise distract you from that fact.I know exactly, just game 1 was frustrating whether the expectations were this high or not. Ohh well next year or next game LOL
Yep pretty much
Ummmm....maybe you haven't heard. Kyrie has a fractured knee cap which is equivalent to the sky falling in on Cleveland. Or even this:dude...I have no clue why you let the Heat and Lakers haters get to you. If this current Cavs team was a movie it would be the Godfather Part II and we would be through the first 10 minutes with a young Pacino (Ky) and Deniro (Love) led by the God father- Marlon Brando (Bron)
If the current Heat were a movie it would be a B-movie slasher flick with an over the hill Nicholas Cage (Riley) trying to produce, and direct starring Mickey Rourke (the guy on his 2nd chance like Whiteside).
If the current Lakers were a movie it would be something directed by Frank Stallone (Jim Buss: nepotism at its finest), star lindsay lohan (used to be hot- now is a mess) and go straight to video.
just relax Cavs fans...and enjoy the show.
Oh no! I can't take it!If the current Cavs were a movie, it would be M.A.S.H. players all hurt and Cavs fans providing the comedy for everyone else.
Wiggy and Shane would be fighting over who gets to be Corporal Klinger.
I can only imagine. I have hit my knees on the edge of a table, the top of my desk at work even when trying to get or out of my car & that is a lingering pain. The fractured knee cap is a painful injury. Think about the last time you smacked your knee on some immoveable object. He'll be doing a lot of sitting. I wouldn't count Cleveland out just yet. It really is not over until the final whistle but the likelihood of Cleveland winning the series just got a little more complicated.
Or the gheys![]()
Wow, that sucks for him.
so with this knee, how exactly was the cap broken? Did it get hit, or fall? Is it connected to his knee issues? He had an MRI last week when he visited the famous doctors, didnt he?
I'm just curious, I'm sure they'll put out more details, if they havent already
edit: I saw it last night, but that didnt necessarily show that it happened on that play
There was contact between Kyrie's knee and Klay's knee... but it didnt' seem super hard and it looked like Irving was going down before the actual contact. Who knows.
