Better question is, will Brady play in the replaying of Superbowl 2015. I can only assume that they have to replay the game now

It is amazing that the Pat's D back was able to pick off that last ball thrown by Wilson with that ball being so hard and full of air as he would not be accustomed to that picking of Brady in practice.

I think he will retire out of shame. Every interviewer for the rest of his life will always ask him, first question, how it feels to be branded a cheater?[/QUOT

========BREAKING NEWS========.........BRADY gets traded to the Redskins,........pats get RG3/draft picks/parking-beer-concessions, 50% sales for 5-yrs from Snyder.

I hope not.

I'll have to stop rooting for the Redskins if we get stuck with some Disgraced Cheater like Brady.

The most likely case is that Tom Brady starts 16 regular season games for the Patriots in the 2015-16 season, as well as several post-season ones.

Unfortunately, Goodell will survive embarrassing public proof that he's a corruptly anti-Patriot crook because, after all, his anti-Patriot cheating has been supported by a lot of other teams' ownerships and fans alike.

...or will Jimmy G. establish himself as superior to the aging cheater with severely diminished skills and a total inability to throw a regulation football?

By all means an interesting proposition. Believe it or not, Pats fans are looking forward to what Jimmy can do in the system. Brady will be working with him closely to teach him the ropes.
Cheating will be optional course study :)

Yes Brady get his job back. I'll say this though. If Jimmy is good enough to keep Brady on the bench, there's going to be a lot of fans of the rest of the league who will not be happy.

Short version:
  • The actual facts of measurement are, if anything, affirmative evidence that the Patriots did NOT cheat.
  • The only instructions Brady is cited in the report as having given are to obey the rulebook.
That's pretty solid fact.

It is my opinion -- subject of course to IANAL -- that this will wind up with a neutral arbitrator, as Goodell's discipline decisions commonly do. It is my further opinion that a neutral arbitrator will actually base his decision on the facts.

The Patriots are going to think they went from a Ford Taurus to a Ferrari F430 when that bum is outta there. Best thing that ever happened to this team.

The leagues track record when a neutral person reviews it is crap.

Wishful thinking that this will adversely affect the Patriots in any way shape or form. Worst case scenario it costs them HFA in the playoffs. They are still going to win their division, and they are still going to smoke the Cowboys in Week 4.

You fucking KNOW it is, Rock. This gets the ball rolling and that coaching staff has to be utterly delighted.

I think he starts the opener. The Pats are going to clobber the NFL on the appeal. Even if Brady ordered the balls deflated(which maybe he did), there is no proof that he wanted them deflated below the minimum allowed. That's kind of important!

I guess the new coach will have to decide

after Kraft fires BeliCHEAT.

Not really running a tight ship in Boston.

Continued pattern of embarrassment.

Spy-gate, Hernandez, Brady...

And losing those draft picks! That's a real kick in the balls!

Didn't think it would be 2 picks.

Belichick was specifically cleared in this incident. Put the pitchfork away.

Everyone knows what happened. Along with a decade-long culture of cheating and lying to coverup comes a measure of common sense.

Stop with the "no proof" silliness.

Agreed. Those who keep trying to specifically implicate him are misguided, though the Sean Payton precedent comes into play. He's the captain of the ship and it keeps happening.
