The guy is a winner. He proved that at Denver.

I agree, however, I think by the time he gets a "leading" role, the team will be in bad shape. He will be rusty this first year, even with a fair shot. If he does get a leading role and stays healthy, I can see playoffs in near future under him.

A lot of people are already convinced that he has no chance to succeed in Philly, just as a lot of people think that Chip Kelly is crazy for having made such unconventional changes to the Eagles roster. Personally, I think it's very interesting and that it could go either way. Have to admire Kelly's determination to do things his own way.

Not really sure what the QB plan in Philly is or how Tebow fits into that plan. I've always thought that Bradford has a lot of talent, though how his body holds up is obviously questionable. Timmy, on the other hand, seems to be pretty durable. He has also reportedly spent a lot of time working on his throwing mechanics and accuracy.

Not sure how it will all play out, but I think that what's going in Philly could be quite interesting. Then again, maybe it really is just a train wreck.

Throws game winning TD in the Super Bowl to top off a perfect QB rating, is named Super Bowl MVP, and then ascends into heaven during the trophy ceremony.

I am not accusing you of stealing anything, but I could have sworn I read something like that when he won that playoff game against the Steelers, and now I can't think of that article to link!

Don't kid yourself. He is fighting for the 3rd string job at best. He is known to be a poor practice player so not really sure how he is ever going to see the field short of all of their QBs getting injured (assuming he makes it past August).

He'll never be the starter unless disaster strikes and both Bradford and Sanchez go down with injuries.

.....but Kelly is a guy that I think can find a role in short yardage situations for Tebow that will help their version of the power run game on certain snaps.

My guess is about 20 snaps all season long out of a read option look in goalline situations. Doesn't seem like much but he will be contributing more this season than virtually any 3rd string QB in the league.

After exhausting all other options, he wins the stating position by week 13 and wins 3 of 4 to finish the season at 5-11.

LOL How am I kidding myself? I honestly admitted that I don't know how things will work out.

NP - lol. Just would be shocked if he sees time on the field barring a disaster. If he is indeed still a poor practice player I find it tough to believe that he will convince anyone that he should be on the field unless Bradford, Sanchez & Barkley are all either injured or suck to a major degree. We will see.

Perhaps Kelly is just a major attn whore & this is yet another move which puts the focus on him. They are certainly the offseason NFL champs in that area.

What do you think?

Well that's all a bit presumptuous, I think his first goal is to make the team, and then anything is possible......
I think he deserves a chance and I hope he does well, whether a backup or a starter, he has proven that he can win at this level in the right offense....
And obviously the Eagles agree or they would not have signed him.....
Good guy and clean roll model for kids today as compared to the thug gangbanger most of the league displays...:thumb:

He will do well till the 70 man cut-down date...

Anyone thinking he will make the 53 man roster is delusional.

Unless he's completely broke down and rebuilt his throwing motion he'll be luck y to be 3rd string. If he ever decides he wants to be a RB or TE, with his athleticism who knows? I'll root for the guy, seems a good person.

Mark Sanchez must be having a drink somewhere saying "Not this fucking mess again".

On the upside, they'll have the strongest team prayer in the league.

I've got nothing against the guy, I'm just not expecting much.

That's a major plus, nobody believed David was gonna beat Goliath either, but some prayer and faith made it happen !!!!! Never say never when you're dealing with a man of faith......

Espn will make it seem like he led the team to a super bowl victory as the mvp. In reality he will be at best the3rd string qb. Uggg what a mess.
