Tools wise he's the real deal ... same with Sammie Coates. The problem with both is boxing gloves for hands.

or they could also be Stephen Hill or Darius Hayward Bays ... Don't get me wrong, I'd take either in Rd 2, I'd just be cautious about taking either too early in such a deep class.

Yes because Perriman RAC is off the charts....his ability is absolutely awesome, and he is just getting better. He is explosive off the snap, go watch the NC State tape where they were AFRAID to man up on him. He blew the roof off the defense time and time again, and he killed them underneath when they were playing 15 yards off him because they were afraid of his sickening speed. The kid is a gamebreaker, yes at times he drops an easy one, but he has a whole lot of sickening circus catches as well.

These are not highlights, this is his game film....he could not be covered Breshad Perriman vs NC State (2014) | Draft Breakdown

You realize that Owens had an incredible work ethic also. I remember him staying after practice to work on the jug machines to learn to catch the speed balls McNabb use to pass (when they were not at the ankles). Just saying, physical play is a huge part of what I want in a WR also. But you have to have good hands to. I remember Owens saying he was not gifted with good hands, he had to really work at it. I'm not going to gamble a pick on a guy that hasn't already proven that type of work ethic. I'd rather go with better hands, if so.

Wings I remember you talked this guy up even before the 40-time, I wouldn't be upset if they took him at 20. From what I've read he already had a early to mid 2nd round grade before his pro day so it's not like he's a guy people are trying to push up too far because of the 40. I think because of the depth at WR this year there's a good chance he gets to 20 to be an option for us.

One of the top WRs will be available @ #20:
White
Cooper
Parker
Strong
Perriman

The question is does Chip go WR, CB, S, or OL in the 1st round? Would he like one of these so much that he trades Kendricks, plus other assets (picks, players, etc.) to move into the top 10 or so, to get the guy he covets? I think that with the signing of Austin, he goes the other positions, and drafts another WR in the mid rounds. Perhaps Agholor in the 2nd?

If Kevin White or DeVante Parker are still on the board at 14, I would consider using Boykin/Kendricks as the trade chip to swap 1sts and move up to get one of those guys.

He's some athlete. He'll go in the first now. He's just not as smooth a catcher as I'd like out of a 1st round pick, but he can help change defenses for sure.

Speed. Speed kills.

Looking at this draft I think there's a real chance that Perriman or Davante Parker falls to 20.

Wasting your time on first round Wide Receivers.....Defensive backfield is the gaping whole on this team.

It's going to be a tough call if there's a stud receiver staring you in the face if he's there in the 1st... like I said before I'm not going to be upset if they take one of these big receivers, especially if the right one starts tumbling down the draft board.

Kelly thinks Huff is a stud and he knows Matthews is. Add in Cooper and Austin for depth, and mix in a little Ertz and Sproles and he believes this team will be just fine. Maybe draft a guy in the 3rd round as a guy that will take over for Cooper or Austin next year.

As much as I will be thrilled if Chip winds up with someone like White, I still think he will address CB in the 1st (Byron Jones?); Agholor in the 2nd; and Adrian Amos in the 3rd. That, my friends, would be as good as it gets for us, in this draft.

Anything in the 4.2s is ridiculous but Strong isn't slow either. Right now I feel that Jaelen is more NFL ready and catches the ball better. Perriman has a higher ceiling so the question is do go with the guy with more upside?
I really wanted a CB but I see no value at #20. In other words I think that when the Eagles go to make their selection the best available player will NOT be a cornerback. But we shall see.

Amos is not worth a 3rd round pick. Really wouldn't even consider drafting the guy until the 6th or 7th round.
