Amos is not worth a 3rd round pick. Really wouldn't even consider drafting the guy until the 6th or 7th round.

After posting that, I thought that Chip needs to draft an OL in the 2nd. That being said, I am wondering why you don't like Amos? I think the birds are pretty high on him. He can play CB and S. What's not to like about him? I'm surprised, since you are a PSU fan. I think he will be a mid-round pick - not a 7th.

Love me some Perriman but I think he has a shot of going before #20 to be honest. While he does have some issues with drops here and there, he is also capable of making circus catches as well. Not to mention his physical tools make scouts drool.

I like Devante Parker a lot more than Perriman.

With the dirth of safeties in this draft, looking at Amos Pro Day an after watching this kid play the past few years, I wouldnt be surprised if somebody reached for him in round 2. I think he is 4th round value with the possibly of him being a solid starting safety in this league

I think Cooper, White, Parker and Perriman all go before #20.

This draft is "stacked" at WR ... guys are going to slip well into Rd 2 and even Rd 3 who will be starting caliber receivers. Guys like Agholor, Devin Smith, Lockett and Dorsett will slip due to the abundance of talent. CB however, especially ones who fit our scheme, are nowhere near as abundant. Especially when we may need one to step in and start off the jump. Kevin Johnson and Marcus Peters to me give us more value at 20. Jalen Collins and Byron Jones will likely be gone by our 2nd rounder if we wait on Corner till Rd 2.

Any of those 4, Rey, would be real good for us. Peters still concerns me with his off the field stuff. Right now, I'm leaning more and more toward Byron. Chip sure is interested.

If Kevin White or DeVante Parker are still on the board at 14, I would consider using Boykin/Kendricks as the trade chip to swap 1sts and move up to get one of those guys.

I don't see K White getting past 6. 14???? He would be crazy not to do anything to trade up and get him anywhere outside of the top 10. he is simply one of the very best, in a great class. The guy is going to be a stud.

Exactly. So why pass on great talent at a WR to grab something that is NOT abundant (to us OR others) and then miss out at WR "AND" miss out on a true talent with someone underwhelming at another position. It's not like WR is not a major need either. Id rather run with the wind than against it at this point. I'd take the better WR.

I will be happy with any of the top WR, CB, or even OL, or a trade down for extra picks. This is going to be a tough pick to screw up.

I know there are character issues in two of these but how about:

1. Peters CB
2. DGB WR
3. Marley OG

Certainly fills holes.

Perriman is supposedly coming in for a visit with the Eagles.

I was looking at his game footage the other night and he is certainly a lot more fluid than a guy like Strong. I could see why some people like him. But I still think there are a number of better receivers than this guy, including Strong, and that some of them will make it to 20.

So do I, but Perriman has a better shot at making it to 20. DeVante might not even make it out of the top 10.

I would still rather have Peters - better overall football player.

With that being said, I wouldn't be pissed if they took Byron at 20, but I think Peters is the real deal.

There seems to be a very polarizing grade on this guy - some like him alot, others not at all, no in between. He seems to be a guy that fits our mold, but what round do you draft him in? I think he would make a better safety than corner.

Amos is a safety that can also play CB. He started at PSU at CB, then moved to safety. He would be like a Malcom Jenkins type.

Perriman won't make it to #20 IMO. I'll be juiced if he fell to us.

Peters and KJ are excellent Corners imo ... there won't be those types of Corners at our pick in Rd 2, but there will still be very good WR's in Rd 2. I'd take KJ in Rd 1 and Tyler Lockett in Rd 2 over WR at 20 and scraps at CB in Rd 2 or 3. btw who says 40's in shorts at pro days mean nothing ... I'm a Perriman fan, but aside from maybe Wings ... nobody was talking Perriman at 20 be4 that 40.
