The only thing that gets me is that TCU and Ohio State have a common oppenent. Minnesota. TCU dropped them 30-7 while OSU beat them 31-24. Im curious if the committee took that into account. However, OSU showed pure dominence last night, and i think thats what they went by.

If the committee simply think OSU is better that is fine.

OSU might just be better.

But, bullshit reasons about better strength of schedule is lame....It doesn't hold any water.

Look, perception rules here.

You cannot beat the game OSU played in a CCG last night. Cant do it. No matter SOS, no matter which conf is better than that conf, on and on.

OSU killed their interview.

OSU looked like the best team of the 3. It's that simple. They are picking the TOP 4 TEAMS. WTF don't people understand about that. Everyone is stuck on the mindset of the oldsystem. Idiots like Joey Galloway don't help public knowledge either.

I think it is a statement to schedule in the non conference. a very good statement.

Good point but I think you have to take into account TCU played them at home and OSU played them in snow conditions.

Why. Round Robin plays every fucking team.
The good, the ones you don't match up well with, etc.

Every fucking team.

God famn you ppl are fucking obtuse.

Personally, I prefer the round robin format. I loved it when the PAC 12 was the PAC-10 and had a round robin. I also think it's the best way to determine a conference champion.

However, when all the other conferences (including the Big12 at the time) had CCG's, it ended up hurting the PAC more than once.

Like it of not, that genie isn't going back in the bottle, so the best choice for the Big 12 is to add at least 2 more teams and have a CCG like the PAC ended up doing.

True, but if you're going to say that you're a better team over everyone, then weather conditions shouldn't matter much.

You have to look at more than just the score. One team played on the road. One team played in 15 degrees.

You saw what Ohio State is all about in perfect weather conditions last night.

They dropped three places after a 55-3 win. That's hard to explain. That basically means that all of the previous rankings out of the Committee were meaningless. If that's the case, don't make them. Just pick your teams after the Conference Championships.

Great point, but TCU's the weakest of the teams in the mix imo.

smartest thing said all show....everyone play 9 in conference and everyone have a CCG

Exactly......everybody should play by the same set of rules.

College football is weakened when the conferences are not on the same page together.

Consistency folks........consistency.

TCU should play Baylor in their bowl game.

I also think they should take the top 8 teams and have them play in a playoff format.

Understand, I'm not making statements that OSU doesn't deserve to be there, after last nights performance, they absolutely do. I'm only making points on how the committee chose their rankings.

did the committee ever move a team out of the top 4 after winning before this week?

TCU got screwed but that's what you get for not having a conference championship game.

I have no desire to add additional teams just because in the Big 12. One of our teams didn't make the playoffs this year. Big fucking deal. Let's all overreact and invite Boise St and Northern Illinois or some shit. I mean Baylor didn't fuck themselves by scheduling Buffalo as their premiere OOC game or anything. I said in the offseason Baylor is going to fuck themselves eventually with their shitty scheduling just like Texas did in 2008. We learned our lesson and maybe they will now too. TCU I feel kind of bad for considering they had a top 25ish OOC win, but they really didn't win the conference so whatever.
