I really don't know what to think of this team. The inconsistency on this team on both offense and defense are killing us. However we are 4-1 dispite these inconsistencies.
1. Foles like much of the rest of the offense is inconsistent nothing more illustrated this than the throw to Maclin for the TD. The TD was a nice throw to a wide open receiver, however the play before that he had the same open receiver in Mathews and he threw it off his back foot and Mcnabbed the throw. Yes the fumble drove me crazy, but the score was 34-14 at the time with 9 minutes left in the game you would think your defense should be able to hold them.
2. McCoy isn't even inconsistent he is just bad right now. Way too much dancing. He did play better in the second half when he stopped dancing and hit the hole
3. The Oline played ok yesterday they are not blowing huge holes in the run like when Mathis and Kelce were in there but there are some creases to run into. Sproles seems to be runnng ok behind it
4. Ertz dropped a sure TD in the first drive result of the series was a field goal. This seems to be happening every week now with this team, a reciever dropping a sure td, we didn't see that much last year. Inconsistency throughout
5. The defense is at its best when it's aggressive, I blame billy Davis for taking the foot off the gas. However he still had his players in a position to make plays and they did not.
6. Very simply we have the worst defensive backs in football they let a rag arm QB throw wounded ducks for Tds all they had to do was turn around and look, at the worst they could have batted the bal down at the best it's an INT. This was my biggest concern coming out of this game, even more so than Foles and McCoy , at least you ca. Say Foles and McCoy have been good in the past, you can't say that about Williams, Fletcher or Carroll.
7. We have by far the best special teams in football
8. The injury to Demeco Ryans could be devistatibg to and already inconsistent defense.
9. Nice to see Brandon Graham playing like a 1st round pick. He was very active yesterday.
