My take.

1. Foles struggling is almost entirely on chip kelly so far. The same crap the fat man did with nabby, he is now doing with foles. Every play is either everybody run short routes, or everybody run 999's. I remember us screaming at andy to run some damn drags, slants and ends, and it would take weeks for him to see it. Chip is doing the same thing. I dont get it, I mean its like football 101 and teams do it to us every damned week. We have 4 starting targets 6"3 or taller, (cooper, ertz, mathews and celek) and we refuse to work the linebackers and safeties, its infuriating.

2.Shady is trying to win mvp on every damn run. Duce needs to put his foot in his arse and tell him to cut out tgat twinkle toes crap and run straight. He leaves at least 20 yards on the field every game. Sproles runs one cut and up and thats why hes averaging 6.7 ypc to shady's 2.9. Its not the line, its the players running behind it.

3. Our oline has been solid, not great... but solid. Peters is still the best in the game, and foles has more than enough time to complete passes. HE is refusing to go through his progressions and just awkwardly stares at one side of the turf while constantly pump faking... its like he has ocd and needs to pump fake before he throws.

4. Carey williams has given up 7 tds in 5 games... nuff said.

5. Nate allen is regressing back to his old coverage ways... but in a positive note, hes been blasting guys this year.

6. Cooper is stealing money, but maclin, ertz and mathews are open on virtually every play.

7. Brandon graham is our best pass rusher... ive been saying it, and ill keep saying it. He brings the wood on every play.

8.Our front 3 rotation is the best in the nfl. Thornton is the most underrated player in football right now. Him and cox are massively disruptive and logan is turning into a very good nose. Hes not an anchor yet, but he rarely gets pushed back. The kid is a wall, cant wait till he can push the pocket.

Lastly, jenkins is sick... please go watch his tape. Dude covers ground like a young ed ried, hes my dpoty for our team.

Times your's...

What Chip said this week is that Foles is not setting his feet like last year and is rushing some throws because of the interior line being unreliable. That makes sense.

I would be upset with Chip if people were not open, but fact is people are often open and Foles is not hitting them. It's not all on Chip, that is for sure. It's the line and Foles.

As for Shady, he is a great player when he can get to the second level and make moves in the open field. But when it comes to hitting a hole fast, lowering a shoulder and getting some tough yards, that's just not his thing. He doesn't even try to get 3 yards when it is there.

Shady is still perhaps the best rb in the NFL. Something happened to him in preseason, turf toe or something that is why he has not had his speed. He didn't suddenly lose his speed at 26 years old.

Nick Foles looks different because he does not have a pocket to throw from. He is constantly throwing off his back foot, much of this has to do with his O-line, but it's also in his head and clearly he has the Yips, and as a QB you can't have the Yips or your cooked. It is hard to stay patient, especially since we have Mark Sanchez on this roster. Yes we all know Sanchez sucked with the Jets, however he didn't suck his entire time with the jets, and the jets seem to make every Qb look bad. Mark Sanchez has the pedigree, he was a First rd pick, he has the good arm, and the quick release you look for. Sometimes a system makes a QB. I know one thing, Sanchez was a STUD in college. This may just be the perfect system for Sanchez. I'm loyal to Saint Nick, but I have to tell ya a part of me wants to see what Sanchez can do in this offense. I still haven't figured out if Foles can be the Franchise QB or is he nothing more than a solid Backup. So far this year I'm leaning toward Solid backup. I'm not ready to give up on Saint nick just yet, but man, if he has a couple more games like he had this past week vs the Rams I don't see how we can stay loyal to him.

CB's - If nothing else I'd like to see Nolan Caroll get his shot to start. I have seen enough from our current crapola Cb's.

Brandon Graham looks Fuckin Awesome! :yahoo:

Last thing...
Jordan Matthews is gonna be Awesome!!!

OL's can make or break your Offense. Shady is an excellent Back, but he makes a living on cutbacks and juking the heck out of people. To do that though he needs a little space which he's seen very little of this year with the injuries. He never has been and never will be a put your head down and take the 3 yards ... right now it's just a bad combo. Foles is also suffering through this OL as he doesn't have the same pocket he got use to last season ... he's rushing passes and throwing off his back foot because he's gotten pounded. That scares me as what makes or breaks a QB is how they respond to taking a pounding. Not saying Foles is the next David Carr, but it's slightly worrisome as I'm not seeing the same QB as last season.

I have seen Mark Sanchez mentioned more than a few times. That baffles me. Mark Sanchez sucks. Has anyone forgot his performance in New York? Yes Foles is skittish becuase of the pressure. Sanches folds like a lawn chair under pressure.

Mark Sanchez Sucked in the Jets system. Mark Sanchez was a STAR at USC, The Jets System clearly did not suit Sanchez. We saw in preseason how Quickly he got rid of the football, and how accurate he was. That was the Mark Sanchez that was drafted in the first rd. Do you think Chip Kelly is an idiot? There was a reason he pounced on Mark Sanchez the second he could. Drew Brees went from the Chargers system to the Saints and now he will is a HOF type QB. I'm not saying that could be Sanchez, but sometimes a change of scenery makes a world of difference. There is no way I'm ready to give up on Foles, but Nick has looked pretty bad this season. I'm saying Nick is on a bit of a short leash. The things going wrong need to get cleaned up, or Nicks gonna have to take a seat.

Rey my friend, always the voice of reason. You are so right about the Oline. Foles has taken a beating this year and at times he has come through it, look at the Washington game, but at times he has not. He has the prototypical happy feet. That is correctable. It is going to take Foles to slow down that timer in his head, he is rushing passes thus the long throws being too long he is making some ugly passes off his back foot but I am seeing that much more when he is getting hit than otherwise.

The interesting thing is at times he is making great throws. The throw to Cooper that he dropped in San Fran in he end zone was a money throw, not any QB can make that throw. He is just inconsistent right now and I think that is about his oline, I think that is about his coaching drilling into him to get rid of the ball quicker an not take the sack.

Remember the criticism last year was he was taking too many sacks. This year sacks are not an issue now he is rushing the ball and taking too many hits

How many USC QB's that were stars in college were stars in the NFL?

Drew Brees is the very small exception not the norm. The majority of QB's that had the opportunity like Brees did still flopped. Not saying it is not possible but I am not willing to bet on it.

No I do not think Chip Kelly is an idiot but I don't think he is he best coach in the world either (I am not implying you think that). With that said Chip Kelly has not even remotely said there is an issue at QB either.

Nick Foles is only a part of bigger problem. Is he struggling yes but he is not the worst there is. I know some of you think he is brutal but I am not suprised because in Philly the best QB on the team is always the backup. Foles is a little skittish and the O-line is not whole. As the line improves Foles will improve as well.

Let me ask all of you this, if you have a Qb that has a season that he throws 28tds to 16 ints and throws for 4800 yards. His team wins 10 games and a playoff game. Would you consider that QB at least a middle of the road starting caliber QB? I would say yes. How many of you would say yes?

4800 yards is 300 yards a game and I personally think that is an awful lot to expect from a QB. To answer your question I would say yes.

Sounds like Matt Ryan, and I'd be fine with that.

Right now, Foles looks like he is on track for les than that, just to be clear. More like 25 TDs, 16 picks, and about 4,000 yards. Not terrible numbers but anyone who has watched the games knows that a good QB would have more than 30 TDs, more yards and fewer picks. Foles is below 60% completions right now too. Nabby type numbers with more picks than Nabby.

The alarming thing for me is Foles could very easily have about 10-12 int's already....sooner or later luck will run out if he doesn't get himself straightened out.

and he could have 4 or 5 more TD passes and several hundred yard more as well. Don't get me wrong I see your point and you are correct because Foles has gotten lucky. So has all the other QB's in the NFL.

Foles has some things that needs to be fixed. He has been really skittish since the redskins game.

Matt Barkley says "HI", and he want's a chance to. Oh and he was a STAR at USC (possibly the top QB taken had he not been injured). WTH does ol Chipper know now? That he wasted a pick on him?
