Im not giving up on Ball but he is slow hitting the holes. When other RB's for Denver come in they seem to be running the ball just fine. Hillman please just hang on to the ball.

Good game overall. Offense overall looked good except for 2 interceptions. The running game in the 2nd half was much better. Props to Hillman and Thompson. DT looks like a beast once again. Defense very good today as well. Burse also had some nice returns to get some good field position. McManus will have to make some 50 yard fg's down the road but I dont see that being much of a problem.

Allowed less than 50 yards rushing, less than 200 yards passing and 3 sacks. Not bad on defense. 41 points on offense that could have been more. I'll take it (would like to cut out the int's though). Saw Anderson was a healthy scratch. Should I be looking to get him in fantasy or is Ball's groin not too bad?

Outstanding game by the Broncos. 2 picks, one TD pulled off the board due to a penalty and another due to being ruled down (right call)...the score doesn't tell the story of the utter ass-whoopin' this could have been. As it stands, it was a pretty darn impressive win. It could have been much much worse for the Cards.

He's actually an undrafted free agent. Fell in love with him in preseason. I know it was only mop duty today, like it was only preseason this past summer, but I really think that Thompson can play.

The Cards could have easily made it a lot closer than the final score, including having won the game, but they had a lot of missed opportunities in their passing game. There were quite a few plays where they could have had long receptions and possibly TDs, but the QB just missed the WR, or the WR dropped the pass.

Aside from that, the defense played well throughout, and the offense stepped it up in the second half and even got the running game going toward the end.

Probably the best thing I took away from this game is that the Broncos kept the pedal to the metal right to the end. That is a Championship mentality.

Oh yeah, you're right TDs. Funny, I was thinking in the back of my head, "Was he drafted?" when I typed that. What a great pickup. I'm already convinced that he can serve a solid role on this team, including as a starter if needed. He's got enough quickness that he moves well in space, but he can push a defender back too to get the tough yards.

The Broncos running game was better without Ball on the field. If Ball is out a while hopefully guys like Thompson, Hillman and a healthy Anderson can keep it going like in the 2nd half yesterday. PA is a must for this offense. Depth reasons the Broncos will need Ball but lets face it he has not been that good this year. Just saying.
