Well Krush they did give up 7 and he did miss a chippy which is 10 points and they lost by 3 so I agree with shark. ST did it again

It was a good game, Redskins should be competitive this season. Not classy apparently, based on the cheap shots to Foles, which no doubt will get the attention of the league office, but competitive.

I was referring to the fans, not the players. I can't control what Chris Baker does. I can refrain from going on the Eagles board and offering cheap shots during the game and backhanded compliments after it.

BS. 18 of 18 was 2 seasons ago. Last year he was average on FGs and terrible on KOs. Now he's OK on FGs and can't KO. He's also had groin injuries two seasons in a row now.


Bring Hocker back in. At least he can KO to the end zone. That's ~120 yards of field position we give up with Forbath's inability to KO.

right, but its a team game ... so its wrong to single out one person for a loss. The team lost the game, not just the kicker.

I actually agree on Kai. He's made some big kicks for us.

Special teams was a 10 point swing in this game. Fact of the matter is, we dont have a kicker who can consistently kick it out of the back of the endzone on kickoffs. Forbath missed a basically chip shot and we lost by 3 points. Add in the fact that we likely just lost Hall for the season. But in the end you come down to the fact that Special teams ( short bus caliber) pretty much cost us this game.

i'm purdy sure tress way was handling the kick off duties during the return for the TD because of the groin injury

If the guy kicking off can consistently put it out the back of the endzone, you eliminate the chance for big returns all together. forbath has NEVER been able to do this, and Way is 50/50 at best. If your coverage team on kickoffs sucks at coverage (which ours apparently still does) then your kicker had better have the leg to make it a non issue ( which neither of ours do).

If we KO 5-6 times a game and they average getting the ball on the 40 instead of the 20, thats 100-120 yards we gave them.

Not to mention the 102 yard return for a TD we gave up.

Take a look at a drive chart and check out the starting field position after KO's. Its not a 40 yard difference, its definitely closer to 120 total.

We all know what will happen after he's released. And I have no idea how he has groin problems when he doesn't even KO anymore!

So for the 2nd time in two years Forbath is hurt and can't KO, and misses chip shots, and we're OK saying it was because of "injury"?

I'd suffer with Hocker's makes/misses on FGs, he put the KO's in the 1st row.

Are you for real? Helmet to Helmet contact several times on you guys with no call....The assholes even missed the damn facemask on the punt return, the fans got on them so hard they threw a late flag and called it horsecollar. Brandon Graham Was Mugged on that Helu screen pass and run, he would have made the play, no call. You guys had 2 Shots on Foles that were Very Cheap. That isn't why your Baker and (THE BEST LT IN FOOTBALL) Peters were ejected. You guys lost that game fair and square, it was a great game...Cousins was awesome. We have 4 guys out on our O-line so we were pleased with how well our offense played. your Offense Mauled our defense, but our guys showed up late, and really that was the difference, that and special teams.
