As one of the people who is very critical of griffin I say no you dont just ditch him. You see what Cousins can do with the team FIRST. If we struggle this year, then you have an open competition for the QB spot next year. But until tomorrow when we get a more definitive outlook an RG3, this is simply a situation where Kirk has a chance to show off HIS abilities.

Depends. If Kirk plays lights out and convinces gruden that he has the potential to be a franchise QB, then you might seriously consider trading Robert. There will be a QB needy team out there that would give a couple of 1sts for him. We will never get back what we paid, but we don't need to.

With a twice blown Knee and now the ankle injury... if we get a 5th rounder in a trade we are lucky. Would you give up a 1st round pick for Sam Bradford right now?? Much less a couple of first round picks.

He's no sam Bradford. There are still plenty that look at rg3 and all his skills and think they are the one who can bring it to fruition. He'll, Jerruh would give his left nut for Robert, don't ya think?

Two 1st for Griff, if he's traded after this season w/o playing another down is very pie in the sky thinking.

Could be, but I wouldn't be surprised. I've seen teams do really stupid things to acquire a QB.

I would love to get two 1st for Griff. But do you really think some team will give us two 1st for an injury prone non pocket passer? If that is the case you do it in a heartbeat.

Word. We root for a team that's done really stupid things to acquire a QB.

You keep him because he is under contract.

If KC plays well in his absence, you keep KC and look to trade RG3.

I can see maybe getting 1-1st rounder for him but nothing more. He has shown amazing talents his rookie year. You can then say defenses have adapted to his style and he has been slowed by injuries to his legs and he has severely hurt his confidence which could be more damaging. We have seen teams give up early draft picks for QB's these past few seasons but those same QB's weren't injury prone. I don't see a team making that gamble of losing a 1st round pick for a unhealthy player.

I think y'all are crazy if you think RGIII is going to yield even one first rounder.

Maybe I'm way off base, but I could just see a bidding war for him. Look, a dislocated ankle can be 100% healed. He is still considered a top level talent, but raw. I could see teams like NYJ, Dallas, STL, Minn, Denver, Buffalo and a few more with both need and interest. Look what some teams have done to get not even elite talent. Will his injuries be a detraction? Absolutely and it would affect his value. Maybe the deal would be a 1st and a conditional pick based on games played. If he plays 16 the next season, its a 1st, etc.

Hell what do I know. I just see a relatively young QB with immense upside and talent. Again, Jerrah would drool at the opportunity to get him. That I'm confident about.

I just don't think you're factoring in his injuries enough. The guy is injury prone. And what's worse is he can't slide (like seriously, he can't physically slide, he doesn't know how) to avoid some of the hits that puts his body in bad positions. Yes, he has talent, but all the talent in the world won't help you if you can't stay healthy.
