The Broncos are reportedly bracing for a major groin injury to Montee Ball.




F'n figures! Just when Denver scraps the 2 tight set and opens things back up, Ball goes down. .. hard. And now Hillman, Anderson, and Thompson will reap the rewards while TKO, Will, and myself enjoy our crow. DAMNIT!!!

What crow? He's injured. Jury is still out.

That said, I also need to replace him. It is indeed a pain in the Ball(s).

Yeah, there will be a few jackasses here that will not let it die. This jackass is only bummed that I passed on Murray for him in the one league I drafted him. That said, it really made sense that this should have been a damn good year for the kid.

The one thing I hang my hat on when looking back and taking him in the 1st round of my second money league. .I would've taken Peterson anyways. But, I got nothing in MBBRL. Would have taken Charles.. and even that would've been disappointing 4 of 5 weeks

In two leagues with a late first round pick I had the choice of M Ball or DeMarco. I took Ball in one(bad) and DeMarco in the other (really good). If I didn't have a man crush on Demarco I probably would have taken Ball in both. I am not sure there is any RB to own for the Broncos now. Still don't trust the dinky little fumbler. Then there is CJ Anderson and this new #40 guy.

Well, you guys do need to take some responsibility for selling them so heavily... Injuries are tough, but he was also sucking all season too... So yes the jury is still out, but you do need to eat some crow just for the hard sell... Especially you, treff!!! In fact I want to see an official thread started up by TREFF "the BALL lover" where you gravel to regain your Fantasy guru status!!!

Well, I ain't starting a thread, but I'll cop to it on whichever thread pops up. Including the injury. One of the reasons I was high on him is that he was young and didn't have a bad injury history, so that factored into my thinking, so I won't take a pass on that.

I'll still prop him up when/if he makes it back to the field this year, though. The ingredients are still there. But no way around it - as a first-round pick he was a bust (he's not alone there, but that's no excuse).

HIllman, CJ Anderson, and maybe even Juwan Thompson..personally I think CJ Anderson would get the bulk of carries..he was inactive this week though, so who knows.

FYI, Moreno was inactive for about half of the 2012 season before suddenly being inserted as the starter for John Fox, so I don't think there's much to the fact that Anderson was inactive as it relates to who may or may not get touches going forward
