Which team were you a fan of, before the Seahawks were created?

I would have to say the Rams with Roman Gabriel, and the fearsome foursome, also enjoyed the Vikings with the Purple people eaters and Fran.

When I was a wi little lad I actually liked the Steelers back in the mid 70's .... Obviously I adopted the Seahawks and was crazy excited we finally got a team, but continued to follow Pitt back in those day's ... Bradshaw was fun to watch with that offense, and there D was kicking people around .... It was all Blue after that though.... I've watched dam near every Seahawks game since day 1 ...

I think I would have loved to watch Steve Largent. I was too young when he played.

I became a bandwagon fan of the 49ers in the late 80s, when I first started getting into sports. I have been a fan of them ever since. So, I have stuck with them through thick and thin, and hardly anybody here is a 49er fan. It's all GB, CHI, KC, MIN, and some DET and STL. Basically teams in surrounding states.

If I was alive back then and if I wasn't a Steelers fan, I would probably be a fan of the Miami Dolphins. I really like reading about the Dolphins of the early 1970s, no real superstars but a great overall team. Also their colors.

My parents had season tickets to the Huskies since I was quite small which may be in part why I'm such a die hard college fan. Husky stadium in the 70's was just rocking.

As far as the NFL goes, I don't think I really had a favorite team. I liked the Cowboys cheerleaders, but not so much the team. It was more individual players and good games. Wasn't really a Raiders fan, but loved some of their players. Same went for GB and the Steelers.

Yep, exactly me too, we must be same age.

We only had a black and white TV, and the Rams helmets really stood out, also, it seemed the Rams were on a lot back then.

Yep, I was born a Hawks fan, don't remember much about them until 1992 (though I know we watched all the games, but I really only remember a few from before that year). 1992 was special cause it was the first year that I had football cards, and actually knew who the players were (not to mention that started my obsession with sports statistics). Never had any other team higher than the Hawks, though I had a Steelers jersey and a Redskins jersey (also the only NFL player I have met played for the skins). Wore those all the time.
