Feliz at 92 MPH just isn't going to be good enough to be our closer IMO. Soria gets away with it because of control and savvy.
Not yetAre you all sold on Feliz being the closer? Talking about going Into next year.

Got the green light. JD's asking price on Rios is a top 3 pitching prospect (that's on a team, not overall). There are 7 teams that want him, and he could have been gone but our asking price is pretty high.
So, this is my way of thinking. We all know how stingy JD is. He is far less likely to lower a price than someone is to increase a price. So, when you have contending teams going for the same player (baltimore and toronto, for example) they have to each shoot offer after offer. We don't give a shit who he goes to, we just want the biggest return.
So, the scenarios are this. Either Rios doesnt get traded (which everyone thinks is unlikely) JD lowers his asking price (very possible, but also unlikely) or Rios gets traded for at least a pretty good pitching prospect. However, the reason I actually used Josh Bell's name earlier was because somewhere along the line his name was thrown into the conversation as well. So, maybe there is a degree of creativity involved, but we'll see.
Let the speculation commence
We were fortunate there...Good positioning on OF defense.
Well, the point I'm trying to make is that I may overrate Rios, but so does the most important man of all, and that's JD.
