I don't know if Mariano Rivera was the first or not. But now, especially if you're a effing Yankee and you retire, we seem obligated to show our respect. All of baseball follows suit.

Gawd, I wouldn't go to that game if you gave me a ticket. I know I'd be pissed at all the Yankee jerseys and horse crap which would ensue.

I am watching on FSSW but I started watching without the sound on about a month ago, couldn't bear our announcers AND really shitty baseball! Busby is awful and Mack and Buzz or Tom and Buzz are worse. It makes this game full of Jeter talk much easier to take as well

Where I'm living, I can't get the game on radio, but get the broadcast most of the time. Listening to Nadel would be such a treat.

When we are bad you are right, you do not want to go to a Yankee game. You will think you are in NY. The last few years with the fan enthusiasm we would drown them out.

Seems like at some point you have to realize you got very little pitching depth left in the system and you have to make a few moves to start adding something for next year starting now. At the very least a little BP depth

In fairness to our beleaguered offense, this kid has pitched lights out so far against the other teams he faced as well.

But he just passed the 100 pitch mark. So maybe we can a little better fortunate with their BP.
