Just a few notes here for everybody reading this. First of all this draft took a lot more chances on rookies than the other draft. I didn’t have to look up one player to see what team he was on in the A league draft but I seriously had to look like 6 players up from this draft to see what team they were on. Steelers and Trudem, every time the draft was going from an even round to an odd round, which meant I picked and then both of you picked twice before I picked again, you both screwed me so many times out of picks that I wanted. I was going to take Jeffrey or Antonio Brown in the 3rd round, Garcon or Cobb in the 5th round, Vernon Davis, Cam Newton, or Cordarrelle Patterson in the 7th round, and Cutler in the 9th round. Not that I am not satisfied with my draft, but you two made me cuss more at my computer screen in the middle of work than anybody else. And even with the time it took to finally get it done, I really enjoyed the format. It was almost between an online draft and a live draft, although hoping that your guy wouldn’t get picked for 5 days sometimes was a little bit brutal, but overall I really enjoyed the draft. I had a really hard time deciding between myself, Xponential, Steelers and Trudem for the championship game. I had to have confidence in my own team right, but the deciding factor was that I had 6 players in the top 42 of fantasy pros consensus rankings and Trudem had 6 in the top 53, so that was what I used as the decider. Good luck to everyone this season and it’s already exciting now that the rosters are up on the website.

Steelers should be Stealers

QB – Cam Newton (7) Eli Manning (13)
RB - Adrian Peterson (1) Toby Gerhart (4) Trent Richardson (5) Deangelo Williams (10)
WR – Julio Jones (2) Alshon Jeffrey (3) Reggie Wayne (8) Julian Edelman (9) Terrance Williams (11)
TE – Vernon Davis (6)
D/ST – Patriots (12)
K – Nate Freese (14)

Love this draft. Everybody you took was right in line with their ADP and you got several steals with Vernon Davis, Cam Newton, Terrance Williams, Julian Edelman and even Deangelo Williams. Your RB2 is a little bit weak with Gerhart but that’s honestly the worst thing I can say about your team. Love Jones and Jeffrey in the 2nd & 3rd rounds and you got a top 5 tight end in the 6th round. The only other person that comes close to your wide receiver depth in both leagues is Trudem. The best chance of slowing your team down will be for Nate Freese to not win the Lions kicking job. Overall you had a great draft and your starting lineup looks great. Your RB2 might not be as strong as some and your WR3 might be down a little, but you will be near the top of the standings.

Best Pick: Vernon Davis with the 72nd pick was a great pick and so was Terrance Williams with the 121st pick.

Worst Pick: Tough call, I guess the biggest risk was selecting Nate Freese as your kicker since the Lions haven’t given him the job yet officially.

Bye Week Issues: Week 10 will see Peterson, Richardson, Wayne, Edelman, & Patriots D on bye. You have enough to cover everything, but that is your one bad week.

Overall grade: B+

Prediction: 9-6 (4th)

Trudem makes the title game

QB – Nick Foles (6) Jay Cutler (9)
RB – Lesean Mccoy (1) Alfred Morris (3) Danny Woodhead (10) Tre Mason (11)
WR – Antonio Brown (2) Pierre Garcon (4) Randall Cobb (5) Cordarrelle Patterson (7) James Jones (12)
TE – Jordan Reed (8)
D/ST – Packers (13)
K – Robbie Gould (14)

Another fantastic draft. Mccoy is always a good place to start and Antonio Brown might be the most consistent wide receiver in the league. I’ve already expressed my issues with Alfred Morris but he was right in line with his ADP. Garcon was a great pick at 47 which would look even better if you didn’t steal Cobb at 50. I will be honest with you, I was shocked that Cobb was still there in 4th round and the only reason I left him alone was that I already drafted Nelson in the 3rd. I couldn’t believe he was still there. Foles and Cutler are a great combination as I won two leagues last year with those two as my quarterbacks. I think the 9th round was a little early for a backup, but it definitely didn’t hurt your team any. The only problem I have with the Jordan Reed pick is that you are putting an awfully lot of faith in the Redskins this year. I can’t believe Cordarrelle Patterson was there in the 7th round either. Your wide receiver depth is awesome just like Steelers. The Packers D might be a little bit of a stretch this year and probably shouldn’t have been drafted, but hey I have to complain about something in your draft right. Overall your starting lineup looks pretty damn good and is going to be tough to beat.

Best Pick: Randall Cobb with the 50th pick was a steal and so was Cordarrelle Patterson with the 74th pick.

Worst Pick: Cutler but that’s only because it was in the 9th round with the 98th pick and I think that was a little too early to take a backup quarterback. Also the Packers D I don’t think should have been drafted.

Bye Week Issues: Week 10 with Morris, Garcon, Patterson, Reed, and Woodhead all on bye. That will leave you with only Mccoy and Mason at RB and no TE. Could be a tough week

Overall Grade: B+

Prediction: 9-6 (2nd place losing to Bandit in the finals)

Bksballer has Charles in Charge

QB – Tom Brady (5) Philip Rivers (8)
RB – Jamaal Charles (1) Giovani Bernard (2) Pierre Thomas (10) Legarrette Blount (13)
WR – Victor Cruz (4) Kendall Wright (6) Emmanuel Sanders (7) Steve Smith (9) Kenny Stills (11)
TE – Julius Thomas (3)
D/ST – Bengals (12)
K – Alex Henery (14)

Well it’s always nice when you get to draft Jamaal Charles in the first round and still get Giovani Bernard in the 2nd round. Best starting running backs in the two leagues. Julius Thomas, Victor Cruz, and Kendall Wright were right in line with their ADP’s. Brady might have been a little early in the 5th, but quarterbacks were flying off the board in our draft so I don’t blame you for getting him there. The big problem I have is that if you are confident enough in Brady to take him in the 5th round, then you shouldn’t have drafted a backup quarterback in the 8th round. There was still way too much talent at wide receiver out there including Reggie Wayne and Julian Edelman, and you used that pick to draft a guy you hope to only use once. Baltimore just doesn’t throw the ball enough to warrant Steve Smith in the 9th round, but I understand that the pickings were getting kind of slim at that point. Waiting that long to draft another running back hurts your depth, but hey with the first two you got you’re hoping to only use your other running backs during bye weeks anyway. Overall your starting lineup is going to be great at RB and TE and just a little bit weak at WR as you don’t really have a WR1 on your team. Still you will challenge for the top two spots.

Best Pick: Giovani Bernard with the 22nd pick just because I like him so much this year.

Worst Pick: Philip Rivers with the 94th pick in the 8th round was too early for a backup quarterback. Also think Steve Smith with the 99th pick was a little early as he would have been there later.

Bye Week Issues: Week 4 has Thomas, Bernard, Sanders, and the Bengals D on bye, so you will have no tight end and no defense. Week 6 you have two running backs on bye so you will only have Bernard and Blount to play.

Overall Grade: B

Prediction: 8-7 (6th place)

Bandit steals a title

QB – Ben Roethlisberger (9) Russell Wilson (10)
RB – Marshawn Lynch (1) Arian Foster (2) Rashad Jennings (6) Shane Vereen (7)
WR – Jordy Nelson (3) Larry Fitzgerald (4) Vincent Jackson (5) Dwayne Bowe (12)
TE – Greg Olsen (8) Dennis Pitta (13)
D/ST – Cardinals (11)
K – Greg Zuerlein (14)

It’s going to be hard not to be a little bit biased here, but if I had known what I know now I would have rather drafted Forte with my first pick as I just feel more comfortable with him than Mr. I might throw a fit and retire if you don’t give me what I want. I was really glad Foster fell all the way to me in the 2nd round, but was torn between him and Bernard since they were both still there. If I had known that Zac Stacy would still be there in the 3rd round I would have drafted Julio Jones in the 2nd and Stacy in the 3rd but I just couldn’t justify going RB, RB, RB in a league that you only start two with no flex, I had to go wide receiver, but I was happy with Nelson. By the time my pick came back in round 4 I was completely shocked at the wide receivers still available with Fitzgerald, Cruz, Garcon, Cobb, and Vincent Jackson all still there. I went with Fitzgerald mainly because I just like the guy, but didn’t expect any of the other ones to still be there in the 5th and pulled the trigger immediately when Vincent Jackson made it that far. The value for Jennings was just too good to pass up in round 6, but I was hoping that Cam would still be there when I picked in the 7th. Once he was gone my plan was to draft Romo in the 8th but Smitty ruined that shit for me so I grabbed Olsen which was the tight end I wanted anyway in the 8th and I was going to draft Rivers or Cutler in the 9th but BKS and Trudem screwed me out of that so at that point I had to take somebody and went with Roethlisberger hoping the whole time that Wilson would still be there the next round and a short 6 days later he was and I was relieved. I’m okay with drafting a quarterback late, but damn I wasn’t expecting on people drafting backups before the 10th round so it kind of painted me into a corner. Don’t get me wrong I’m happy with those two, but if I would have only gotten one of them I would feel a lot worse about my draft. In the 12th round I was going to draft either Dwayne Bowe or James Jones if they were there and I was so happy that Bowe was. The Dennis Pitta pick in the 13th round was really just because he was still there and too good a value to pass up, I had planned on going with a 5th receiver until he was still there. I drafted Zuerlein only because his bye week was 4 and I wanted to lose my kicker and defense for just one week. Overall I am stacked at RB and WR and I am very pleased with the tight ends I ended up with. QB is going to be my weakness and hopefully it won’t be my downfall.

Best Pick: All of them, greatest draft of all time. Ok just kidding ADP wise you have to say Dwayne Bowe with the 141st pick, Dennis Pitta with the 148th pick, Rashad Jennings with the 69th pick, or Vincent Jackson with the 52nd pick.

Worst Pick: Marshawn Lynch over Matt Forte with the 4th pick. Wish I had a do over.

Bye Week Issues: Week 4 will have no defense, no kicker, no Lynch, no Wilson, and no Fitzgerald.

Overall Grade: B+

Prediction: 10-5 (1st place beating Trudem in the finals)

JD’s Forte

QB – Matt Ryan (4) Alex Smith (12)
RB – Matt Forte (1) Ray Rice (3) Darren Sproles (10) Chris Ivory (13)
WR – Brandon Marshall (2) Roddy White (5) Hakeem Nicks (7) Odell Beckham (11)
TE – Antonio Gates (6) Zach Ertz (14)
D/ST – Browns (8)
K – Stephen Gostkowski (9)

Love the Forte pick in the first round and the Brandon Marshall pick in the 2nd round. Ray Rice in the 3rd is way too early especially with Zac Stacy and Reggie Bush still on the board. Matt Ryan might have been a little bit early in the 4th and I like the Roddy White pick in the 5th. Antonio Gates if drafted should have gone somewhere in the 12th or 13th rounds since Ladarius Green ranks higher than him. The Browns D I think will be improved this year, but not 8th round good, and especially not with the Panthers, Broncos, and Rams D still there. The Browns D is borderline draftable at best. Gostkowski in the 9th round is way too early for a kicker and I understand getting bored and just wanting to complete your roster, but come on man. Overall you will be a little weak at RB2, WR3, tight end and defense.

Best Pick: Roddy White with the 53rd pick, I think he’s in for a good bounce back year.

Worst Pick: Antonio Gates with the 68th pick. He might not even be the best tight end on his own team anymore. Stephen Gostkowski with the 101st pick. 9th round too early for a kicker.

Bye Week Issues: Week 9 will have 4 of your first 5 picks on bye with Forte, Marshall, Ryan, and White on bye.

Overall Grade: C-

Prediction: 5-10 (12th place)

Microwahevo and Peyton’s place

QB – Peyton Manning (1) Johnny Manziel (11)
RB – Demarco Murray (2) Reggie Bush (3) Darren McFadden (6) Terrence West (14)
WR – Desean Jackson (4) Percy Harvin (5) Michael Floyd (8) Cecil Shorts (10) Justin Hunter (13)
TE – Eric Ebron (7)
D/ST – Panthers (9)
K – Phil Dawson (12)

I like the Manning and Murray picks in the 1st and 2nd rounds and I like Bush in the 3rd although Stacy was still there. Desean Jackson with the 42nd pick might have been a little bit too high especially with the other receivers that were still there in Fitzgerald, Vincent Jackson, Cruz, Garcon, and Cobb. I’ve already explained my hesitancy with Harvin. You apparently went on a guys that disappointed everybody last year kick because after Harvin you drafted McFadden with Rashad Jennings and Shane Vereen still on the board. I like Eric Ebron this year on the Lions, but not in the 7th round, he would have been there much later. Michael Floyd was a great value pick in the 8th and I love the Panthers D again this year. Terrence West in the 14th round is a flat out steal. Overall your starting lineup will look pretty good. A little weak at wide receiver but overall pretty good as long as Ebron comes through with a good year.

Best Pick: Michael Floyd with the 91st pick was a steal that late and so was Terrence West with the 163rd pick.

Worst Pick: Darren McFadden with the 67th pick and Eric Ebron with the 78th pick, both were a couple of rounds too early.

Bye Week Issues: Week 4 has Manning, Harvin, Floyd, Manziel, and West on byes so you will have no QB and only Jackson, Shorts, and Hunter as WR’s.

Overall Grade: C

Prediction: 7-8 (9th place)

SFNL can feel the cool Brees

QB – Drew Brees (1) Carson Palmer (13)
RB – Leveon Bell (2) Jordan Todman (4) Frank Gore (5) Knile Davis (14)
WR – Wes Welker (3) Marques Colston (6) Mike Wallace (7) Anquan Boldin (9) Marcus Wheaton (11)
TE – Jason Witten (8)
D/ST – Steelers (12)
K – Steven Hauschka (10)

I like Brees this year, but either he or Rodgers should have been available in the 2nd round for you and I think Eddie Lacy would have been a much better pick there and then Brees in the 2nd. You basically would have been trading Leveon Bell for Eddie Lacy. Bell was a great 2nd round pick. Welker was a bit of a reach in the 3rd round as I think he would have been there the next round also. Plus Zac Stacy was still available and tough to pass on. I’m not going to hang up too much on the Jordan Todman pick because I know that you thought he was still going to be the starter and you know it was a terrible pick anyway. Gore in the 5th was a great pick and I like the Colston, Wallace, and Witten picks. It just sucks that you could have gotten another top tier receiver with who was left in that 4th round and then used your 6th round pick to select Rashad Jennings or Shane Vereen to give you a little better depth everywhere. Hauschka was taken a little bit too early in the 10th round. Once you realized the Todman pick wasn’t very good, I would have used either the 9th or 11th round picks to select a better back than Knile Davis who will only see the field to spell Jamaal Charles. Overall, it is really hard to overcome a bad pick in the first 5 rounds, although as long as Gore and Bell stay healthy you might get away with it. Overall you will be a little bit weak at wide receiver and you have no depth at running back, but as long as Gore and Bell both stay healthy you could be okay.

Best Pick: Frank Gore with the 55th pick was a great pick.

Worst Pick: Jordan Todman, but you already knew that. Also a kicker in the 10th round is too early.

Bye Week Issues: No issues whatsoever, great job spreading out the byes.

Overall Grade: C

Prediction: 6-9 (10th)

Milk and the new kids on the block

QB – Aaron Rodgers (1) Andy Dalton (9)
RB – Doug Martin (2) Bishop Sankey (4) Steven Ridley (8) Lamar Miller (10)
WR – Keenan Allen (3) Jeremy Maclin (6) Sammy Watkins (7) Kelvin Benjamin (11)
TE – Jordan Cameron (5) Jace Amaro (14)
D/ST – Texans (13)
K – Matt Prater (12)

I know you wanted a top tier quarterback and the fact that Manning and Brees were already off the board kind of forced your hand a little bit, but much like with SFNL I think you’d have been better off going Lacy and then Rodgers in the 2nd round. I think Keenan Allen will be good this year and Bishop Sankey was taken a little bit high although with the running backs that were left around that level he is probably who I would have taken if I took a running back there. Cameron was right in line with his ADP and somebody has to catch the damn ball in Cleveland this year. I think Maclin is in for a big year and I like him in the 6th. Watkins was taken a little too high, but I have a feeling this year if you want him you will have to jump on him in the 7th round or so. I will not own him this year because I just think that’s too high for him. I like the Ridley and Lamar Miller picks to beef up your depth at running back and let’s face it, Ridley has the most talent as a runner especially at the goal line if he would just hold on to the damn ball. Dalton in the 9th round is a good backup, but when you own Aaron Rodgers I would have waited a little later to get a backup you are hoping to only use one week. I do like Kelvin Benjamin in the 11th round and I love the Texans D this year. Drafting four rookies is taking a chance but hey that’s what this league is about right. Overall, your starting lineup will be good as long as your rookies live up to their hype.

Best Pick: Lamar Miller with the 113th pick was great value.

Worst Pick: I don’t like Aaron Rodgers with the 8th pick with Eddie Lacy still out there, especially since I think you could have taken Lacy with the first pick and taken Rodgers with the 2nd pick which would have meant you were basically trading in Doug Martin for Eddie Lacy.

Bye Week Issues: Week 9 with Rodgers, Sankey, and Watkins on bye.

Overall Grade: B-

Prediction: 7-8 (7th place)

Xponential has potential

QB – Robert Griffin III (6) Colin Kaepernick (7)
RB – Eddie Lacy (1) Zac Stacy (3) Andre Ellington (4) Davonta Freeman (12)
WR – A.J. Green (2) Andre Johnson (5) Riley Cooper (9) Danny Amendola (10) Brandin Cooks (11)
TE – Martellus Bennett (13)
D/ST – 49ers (8)
K – Adam Vinitieri (14)

You received a gift when Eddie Lacy fell to you with the 9th pick, but you still had to make it. I like the A.J. Green pick in the 2nd and love the Zac Stacy pick in the 3rd. Ellington in the 4th is right along with his ADP although I’ve already expressed my concerns with his durability. As a RB3 though it was worth the pick. Andre Johnson in the 5th was great value also. Seriously great first 5 rounds. Robert Griffin in the 6th was fine if you think he’s going to have a bounce back year and I understand backing him up immediately with Kaepernick, but I still would have waited at least 2 more rounds and no he wouldn’t have been there but plenty of adequate qb’s would have been. I don’t really think it ended up hurting your draft that much though, all it did was make your WR3 a little weaker than some, but Riley Cooper was a good pick in the 9th and might turn out to be the #1 receiver in Philly. I like Cooks in the 11th and Davonta Freeman was certainly worth a flyer in the 12th given Steven Jackson’s injury history. Waiting until the 13th round left you with Martellus Bennett at tight end, but he’s solid. Overall a great draft.

Best Pick: Zac Stacy with the 33rd pick was a major steal. If I hadn’t gone RB, RB with my first two picks he would have never lasted past me in the 3rd.

Worst Pick: Colin Kaepernick with the 81st pick after taking Robert Griffin III the round before. I understand wanting to have a backup for RGIII given his injury history, but round 7 is awfully early.

Bye Week Issues: Week 4 you won’t have A.J. Green, Zac Stacy or Andre Ellington. You have the backups but it always sucks to not have your 2nd, 3rd, and 4th round picks.

Overall Grade: B+

Prediction: 9-6 (3rd place)

Obxyankee looking for another title

QB – Matthew Stafford (3) Sam Bradford (13)
RB – Montee Ball (2) Chris Johnson (4) Knowshon Moreno (8) Bernard Pierce (11)
WR – Calvin Johnson (1) T.Y. Hilton (5) Torrey Smith (6) Tavon Austin (9) Mike Evans (10)
TE – Kyle Rudolph (12)
D/ST – Seahawks (7)
K – Blair Walsh (14)

Great pick with Calvin Johnson in the 1st and I love Montee Ball in the 2nd. You had to take Stafford in either the 3rd or 4th to own him so I have no problem with that pick, but Chris Johnson with the 39th pick was a bit of reach. Would he have been there if you waited another round? There’s no way to know, but since Foot wasn’t in our draft there was a chance. T.Y. Hilton and Torrey Smith were both good picks and apparently if you really want the Seahawks D you had to draft them there. I like Knowshon in the 8th round and Austin and Evans in the 9th and 10th rounds also. I think Evans will be much better value than that this year. You might have drafted the starting running back for Baltimore in the 11th round depending on Ray Rice so could be a steal and I really like the Kyle Rudolph pick in the 12th round. Overall another solid draft.

Best pick: Kyle Rudolph with the 135th pick. That was great value to fall that far.

Worst pick: Pretty solid draft, but I think Chris Johnson might have been a little early at 39. He probably would have been there one round later.

Bye Week Issues: Week 4 will be without Ball, Seahawks D, Austin, and Bradford but you have enough to cover.

Overall Grade: B

Prediction: 8-7 (5th place)

Silverfacto needs some Luck

QB – Andrew Luck (1) Joe Flacco (13)
RB – Ryan Matthews (3) Ben Tate (4) Steven Jackson (8) Khiry Robinson (9) Jeremy Hill (11)
WR – Eric Decker (5) Michael Crabtree (6) Reuben Randle (7) Greg Jennings (14)
TE – Jimmy Graham (2)
D/ST – Broncos (10)
K – Mason Crosby (12)

Andrew Luck with the 11th pick was just way too early. It’s not that I don’t think Luck won’t be good this year, it’s just about the value of where you select him. He is going in the 5th round of most drafts and since you are at the tail end of the draft, even if you waited until the 4th round I guarantee you he would have been there with the 38th pick. To own Jimmy Graham you had to draft him where you did and I like the Ryan Matthews and Ben Tate picks in the 3rd and 4th. Decker would have been there much later and I can’t believe that Crabtree fell that far. Reuben Randle was a little bit too early also especially with Reggie Wayne and Michael Floyd on the board. Love the Steven Jackson pick in the 8th round, which was great value. I love the Broncos D this year and Khiry Robinson and Jeremy Hill give you good running depth and I actually really like Hill this year, but you are the only person in both leagues that drafted 5 running backs. In a league that you only start 2 RB’s with no flex and no transactions, on of those picks probably should have been used on a 5th WR instead of a 5th RB. Overall your top wide receivers and running backs were not going to be as good as some because of going QB, TE with your first two picks.

Best pick: I was absolutely shocked that Michael Crabtree was still there in the 6th round so that was a wonderful pick at 62. And Steven Jackson at 86th pick was great value too.

Worst pick: Andrew Luck with the 11th pick. It’s not that I don’t like him, but you could have easily waited until at least round 4 and still got him.

Bye Week Issues: Week 8 you have Crabtree and Randle on bye which means you won’t have a full roster of WR’s.

Overall Grade: C

Prediction: 5-10 (11th place)

Smitty and the Romosapiens

QB – Tony Romo (7) Ryan Tannehill (13)
RB – C.J. Spiller (4) Fred Jackson (5) Joique Bell (6) Maurice Jones-Drew (8)
WR – Dez Bryant (1) Demaryius Thomas (2) Golden Tate (9) Brian Hartline (14)
TE – Rob Gronkowski (3) Charles Clay (12)
D/ST – Rams (10)
K – Justin Tucker (11)

I really like Dez and Demaryius with the first two picks and I like Gronk in the 3rd since you backed him up late and I’m fine with Spiller in the 4th, but I really didn’t like the Fred Jackson Joique Bell back to back with the 60th and 61st picks when Rashad Jennings, Michael Crabtree, Maclin, Torrey Smith, Kendall Wright and Cordarelle Patterson were all still there. I like Romo in the 7th round and Jones-Drew in the 8th for depth and I love the Golden Tate pick in the 9th as it was great value. The Rams D was a great pick in the 10th round and I think Clay will be decent, but Dennis Pitta was still there. Overall I think your wide receivers will be the strong suit of your team and you are going to be guessing which running backs to play a lot.

Best pick: I just love the Dez/Demaryius back to back with the 12th & 13th picks, and Golden Tate was great value with the 108th pick.

Worst pick: Fred Jackson with the 60th pick. I understand wanting to get Spiller’s backup with his injury issues, but you could have waited at least two more rounds.

Bye Week Issues: Week 9 you have no Spiller, no Jackson, and no Bell which means you will only have Jones-Drew as a RB.

Overall Grade: B-

Prediction: 7-8 (8th place)

Bandit, great work again... I know my team would not hit the Favorites by the experts since i went so rookie heavy... I did have logic behind them, but i definitely understand that i can not be preseason projected highly...

The only comment i disagree with you at my team is the aaron rodgers/lacy comment... You forget that silverfalco picked andrew luck in the first round... there is no way i would have gotten Rodgers...

QB – Matthew Stafford (3) Sam Bradford (13)
RB – Montee Ball (2) Chris Johnson (4) Knowshon Moreno (8) Bernard Pierce (11)
WR – Calvin Johnson (1) T.Y. Hilton (5) Torrey Smith (6) Tavon Austin (9) Mike Evans (10)
TE – Kyle Rudolph (12)
D/ST – Seahawks (7)
K – Blair Walsh (14)

Great pick with Calvin Johnson in the 1st and I love Montee Ball in the 2nd.You had to take Stafford in either the 3rd or 4th to own him so I have no problem with that pick, but Chris Johnson with the 39th pick was a bit of reach.Would he have been there if you waited another round? There’s no way to know, but since Foot wasn’t in our draft there was a chance.T.Y. Hilton and Torrey Smith were both good picks and apparently if you really want the Seahawks D you had to draft them there.I like Knowshon in the 8th round and Austin and Evans in the 9th and 10th rounds also.I think Evans will be much better value than that this year. You might have drafted the starting running back for Baltimore in the 11th round depending on Ray Rice so could be a steal and I really like the Kyle Rudolph pick in the 12th round.Overall another solid draft.

Best pick: Kyle Rudolph with the 135th pick. That was great value to fall that far.

Worst pick: Pretty solid draft, but I think Chris Johnson might have been a little early at 39.He probably would have been there one round later.

Bye Week Issues:Week 4 will be without Ball, Seahawks D, Austin, and Bradford but you have enough to cover.

Overall Grade: B

Prediction: 8-7 (5th place)

I wanted Rodgers in the first round having the tenth pick. Stafford would not have been there after the turn because Smitty was licking his chops to get his QB. Chris Johnson: I was looking at RB and felt he was the best available at that time. I do not like the Knowshon pick, I didn't know at the time about his issues in Miami. The more time that goes by, the more it looks like Pierce will be the starter in Baltimore, and I can live with being lucky if it works out. It came down to Rudolph and Pitta when I needed a TE and couldn't believe that both were still there. I took Rudolph because I already had Pierce and Torry Smith of Baltimore.

All in all a good job Bandit. I enjoyed reading your writeups for both leagues. This being my second draft of this nature, I have found them to be enjoyable even if all my luck was bad in the baseball one.

Rodgers was my target at 10, so he would not have been there.

I think bandit based his qb comment on ADP, the only problem with ADP is that all drafts have a life to themselves... IN this particular draft, if you wanted a big QB you needed to pick him early...

Awesome work Bandit! You nailed most all of my fears as weaknesses. I'd feared that.(Reached for Fred and Bell. One as insurance for CJ. One as a Lion fan, because I don't think Reggie stays healthy for a majority of the season.) Never have done a football draft like this before. And definitely never have done a football draft in May. (Even if I thought it was June.). There were a few guys I never thought Id draft in Suicide. Gronk being one of them. Tate being another. (Again, Lionsfandom weighed in on the pick. I hate him. His signing fails, I continue to suffer, like I assume. He succeeds, my fantasy life benefits. And my team may finish third in thr North.)And a few I wasn't going to draft no matter how far they slipped. Im banking on a successful season from my backup Dolphins. No crazy drama outside of Pouncey should help with that. (Huge Clay fan. Planned on taking him as a starter going in. Pleased to have him backing up Meatbrain.). I need Linehan to stay pass happy. That's the key IMO. I might have been real drunk at the time, but Im still lovin' my Demaryious/Dez combo pick. And hoping MJD blows up week 9. Ha! You're welcome to whomever it is I face that week.

Thanks Bandit. I like my team as well and think my RB group is my clear weakness but if they stay healthy I think I will be in very good shape!
