Ron Washington said catcher Chris Gimenez may stay with #Rangers once Geo Soto is ready. Gimenez is out of options, can play first base.

Good God, he better stay!!! He's one of the few producers we have, plus he's done well defensively including catching Yu..absolute keeper...

I for one wanted Cruz to stay. I am not a Moreland fan and have wanted to trade him for years. If MM and Martin are the kind of players we are counting on to take us back to the playoffs we may be way off base. Now guys like Cruz will do that. In hearing about the leak with Houston information in that the Astros were interested in Mitch and he was off limits. What!

Leave Choo batting leadoff. It is where he is most productive. It's funny how we can leave players not just this year but also in the past in the same spot in the lineup game after game but yet they are unproductive in that spot. But one of the best leadoff hitters in baseball we move.

But the biggest problem is our pitching depth. If we have pitching we have a chance.

Good pitching solves many ills...ask the 2 time WS champion Giants or the pre 2014 Rays.

You saw the biggest example of that in lasts night's deal. Oakland knows what their doing. They didn't go to improve their offense. With probably the best ERA in the majors they go for two more starters. We'll pay a pretty penny going for two starters this off season.
