Not over. JD still has 3 picks to make.

I think there needs to be some time limit on this, like by the end of the week. Like Joe mentioned, the longer he waits, the bigger advantage he gains.

Since there is no ranking to speak of, perhaps if he doesn't pick by Wednesday he should be assigned the top 3 picks available from the suicide 1 league: kearse, heath miller & boykin. Just a suggestion.

That was going to be my question. If you limit his time, what players are you going to assign him.

I say if he doesn't pick by Friday at noon we let Wil fill his roster with the last 3 picks. He's been itching to make some picks anyway.

I don't think it is fair to reward him with picks from the great one.

I would agree in a normal draft, but it's not like any of the rest of us can pick any of the guys he picks anyway.

If JD does not pick by Friday, we will fill in his bench with a QB,RB,TE ... I am thinking chris Ivory, EJ manuel and Austin seferian-Jenkins

Getting annoyed at JD, and losing patience...

Lol.....................at this point, I don't imagine the great one's picks will help him too much..............unless George Blanda is still out there...............

I feel your pain, Milk. But JD is going through a rough time. I agree he still needs some kind of limit, and some kind of "mutually agreeable default" selections, even if he did lose interest (since you need his team to be competitive).

I just want to throw out my idea to use the S1 draft as a basis for JD's default picks once again. I do like your idea of drafting him a QB, RB and TE (for depth).

According to the S1 draft, the top 3 players selected at those positions that are still available in the S2 are:

QB Alex Smith
RB Andre Williams
TE Heath Miller

If you decide to go with maybe a more "universal" consensus ranking, courtesy of Fantasy Pros, the top 3 ranked players at those positions that are still available in the S2 are:

QB Alex Smith
RB Chris Ivory
TE Zach Ertz

I was actually giving him who I thought was best. I think Manuel is better fantasy backup than Alex smith. It was only the te that I thought was questionable. But I see the rookie to be in a great situation.

I hear what you're saying, but that's one reason why (as the Commish) you should relinquish any feelings towards certain players. You may be spot on about Manuel over Smith. But if you're wrong it could complicate things. Giving him the best players available from another independent source removes any bias IMO.

And I checked the bye weeks, and any of those 6 players I listed (from the S1 or Fantasy Pros) does not conflict with JD's current players.

Due to being fair and all

JDs picks are due by 9:00 Monday morning

If he does not pick by then he will get Alex smith, Zachary ertz and Chris ivory( the top players available to allow him a full roster every week)

Milk - you may end up with an absentee owner. Happily in this league you only have to worry about weekly lineups. I suggest you use some independent projection - ESPN's is fine - to determine start/sits, so that there's no question of who you should have started against yourself or anyone else.

I think so too. He hasn't responded to any PMs. But I know he is back since he has posted over 100 times since 6/16

I agree that the commish should manually change his lineup as necessary.
