Because Mike's system does not fit what Kobe and Nash can provide.

Either they keep Mike, still call him coach and let Kobe do whatever he wants outside of the system (which we know he'll do) or they get another coach that will play a style that's best suited for Kobe.

Everything revolves aroung Kobe

I'm not debating whether the system is good or bad for Kobe. Just curious as to why you guys make shit up about him? Let's see if you continue to not provide an answer.

I provided logical answers.

So we need Kobe to say "I'm too fucking old and coming off major injuries to try to replicate Showtime Lakers so Mike and his style has got to go?" to know that Mike can't stay?

It's not the coach in question, it's the style.

Yes, Kobe needs to say that "he has no desire to play for D'Antoni" if someone is going to credit that quote to him. He may very well have no desire to play for D'Antoni. I just don't understand why people need to make shit up. He does plenty to make himself look bad. This "now he says that Mike didn't get a fair shake because the team sucks" is fabricated BS from Bot. Just curious why.

Here's a Kobe quote Bot:

"I don't know. It's been tough on him. He's been dealing with so many injuries. I don't know if he's gotten a fair shake."

How does that equal Kobe saying coach didn't get a fair shake because the team sucks and throwing everyone under the bus?

So you're saying that the run and gun system will work for an aging Kobe?

D'Antoni's system is not necessarily run and gun. It is "move it or shoot it" and uses a lot of pick and roll in half court sets. In fact, one of the first things D'Antoni said when he was hired last year was that he knew they'd have to slow the pace of the offense.

It was "run and gun" or more specifically "7 seconds or less" in Phoenix because that was the personnel he had. His system isn't designed for a lot of iso's, which is why it didn't work in NY when 'Melo came back from his injury.

In fact, the "move it or shoot it" aspect of the offense would actually help Kobe, because he wouldn't be using up a lot of energy with iso's and he'd have more open looks.

He would still have some iso's, but they would be more situational such as when the Lakers needed him to close out a game.

His offense is based on the most basic principle of Basketball 101: "The ball moves faster than the player".

It's what trolls do:

In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtrl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people,[1] by posting inflammatory,[2] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a forum, chat room, or blog), either accidentally[3][4] or with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[5] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[6]

But doesn't Bot claim not to be a troll and is always calling out troll threads?

Every thread in here is a Heat Hater thread, I am just bring balance to the boards.

@Lakers I never made anything up, as for trolling I usually don't but like I said.

You're going to need another excuse.

Currently on the front page there are 3 threads about the Heat that could be considered hate threads. 1 was started by a Bulls fan back on cbs and brought here, 1 was by Hammerdown and 1 by a Pacers fan. The other Heat related threads (3 or 4) were started by Heat fans.

There are also 4 Kobe related threads, 2 of which were started by you. There is also one about Steve Nash. None of these were started by Lakers fans.

And when you intentionally change wordings in quotes and claim things were said by people that they haven't been quoted as saying......that's making stuff up.

So Dr. Buss, who wanted to bring showtime back, traded a lot to get Nash, fired Mike Brown after 5 games and then brought D'Antoni in....... because they liked the idea of slowing down his fast paced offense?

Mikes Showtime style run and gun system, with newly acquired Steve Nash, actually meant the intention of................... Slowtime???

I clearly explained it in my post.

You either don't get it, in which case explaining it won't matter because you never will. Or your just being intentionally dumb. Either way, you're a waste of time.

Do you think it was wise to bring in a coach to coach a style he is not known for?

I mean, you wouldn't bring in Phil Jackson to run 7 seconds or less, I wouldn't think anyways.

Go back and read post #148. If you still don't understand, I can't help you. Maybe basketball just isn't your thing. It's clearly explained what his system actually is, why it was run the way it was in Phoenix, how it would be run in L.A. and how Kobe could actually benefit from it.

And I will ask you to reread post 158.

I clearly said he isn't known for move it or shoot it. He is known for 7 seconds or less because that is the most success he has ever had.
