Griffin didn't play very well this year. Plus he's starting to make me hate him so there's that to consider as well. :)

You're starting to hate Bob Griffin!?! (You're being kinda nice by saying he didn't play very well) Is it all those Baylor fans from right down the road in Waco?

I have felt abhorrence for him for quite some time now. He's a self absorbed, douchebag. Bobby played horribly this year and I hope it continues.

Seahawks has a very good running game & a great Defense. The two things that are a young QBs best friend!
Luck has no running game to speak of. It all lands on his shoulders to win. Defenses are waiting for him to try & make a play. teams playing Seahawks have to worry about defending the run 1st.

Put Wilson on the Colts & he doesn't do as well. Put Luck on the Seahawks & he would be lights out.
to me it is without question who the top of the class is.

I typically try to avoid debating with those that want to use stats alone for their argument. Stats never tell the whole story.

Just thought I would throw this in before bowing out of this conversation. Don't have a dog in this fight. I am not a colts or Luck fan. but he is the top QB of 12 Although I am curious on how Foles will continue to do.

1a Russell Wilson
1b Andrew Luck

Both backed up their outstanding rookie of the year nominee worthy seasons, with similar consistent performances their 2nd seasons proving neither was some 1 hit wonder and they've earned the right to be the on-going franchise QBs of their teams.

Especially as both don't have stellar Olines to work with, which makes their stats all the more impressive.

Foles had a great year, but until he backs it up with another similar performance, jury is still out.

I am not so sure, I think RW would find a way in IND, that is just the way he is, he is a gamer. The problem in Seattle is the O-line, Luck would be running for his life too, just like RW does. But Luck is a better QB overall, no question about it.

Wilson: 509-800, 6475 Yards, 8.3 Y/A, 52 TD, 19 INTs, 100.6 Rating, 1,028 RY, 26 Wins
Luck: 682-1197, 8196 Yards, 6.8 Y/A, 46 TDs, 27 INTs, 81.5 Rating, 632 RY, 23 Wins

Seattle Pressure Rate: 32.5% (Worst)
Indy Pressure Rate: 26.5% (19th)

And Luck has a top 10 receiving corp while Wilson has a bottom five receiving corp.

It's so laughably one-sided.

Did you look at your link ? It has Seattle's receiving corp ranked ahead of the Colts.... and that's with Reggie Wayne, not to mention the monster running game Seattle has. If they redrafted today, there isn't a GM in the league who would take Wilson over Luck. I like Wilson and would have him at #2, btw.

Did you watch the Colts this year? That is all Luck did was run for his life. The guy has had one of the worst OL's of the first 2 years of his career. Indy better find that guy some help and fast because I just don't think even the strongest of quarterbacks can last much longer in this league behind what he was behind.

I've posted the objective pressure numbers which show Russell was pressured about 20% more than Luck. Luck is the 13th most presured QB in the league. Russell is the most.

Quit making shit up.

I would have rather not mentioned stats at all. Thought I made that clear. But if you know of a more expensive duo than Rice and Harvin, please let me know. The only stat which seems worth mentioning would be fumbles. Your boy RW stands out in a crowd in that department.
Yeah, you would have rather not mentioned stats because they show you to be wrong. What do Rice and Harvin have to do with anything? Rice played about half of the season with minor impact and Harvin played in less than 1 game total in average snaps. No, fumbles is not the only stat worth mentioning outside your twisted logic.

You can lump both seasons together if you wish.(seems like a good choice from your angle.) But one was a league leading fumble master, the other cut back on how many times he coughed it up. Which is the goal for any young player, to improve in areas where they were deficient. Now if Wilson doesn't lay it on the ground a dozen times in 2014, I'll give him credit. Like I've given Luck credit over his short career. Coming into the 2012 draft I felt Luck was the most overrated prospect Id ever been forced to listen about. I was wrong. He's the best quarterback to enter the league since Eli's older brother.

You want to talk about "coughing it up?" Let's look at the career stats, which is what matters since it's fucking equal. Russell Wilson has 11 career fumbles and 19 career interceptions. Those two factors are the definition of "coughing it up" as a QB. Your boy Andrew Luck has 14 career fumbles and 27 career interceptions.

Hold on a second while I do the math...................... carry the 7........................... Yep. Turns out 14 is more than 11 and 27 is more than 19.

You are not an intelligent person :laugh3:

In every single objective performance-based measure Russell is #1. There is simply no argument worth a damn against him. With a below average receiving corp and the single worst pass protecting O-Line in the NFL, he has stats that put everyone else on this list (especially Luck) to shame.

The only other person with anything resembling an argument is Foles, but its too soon to pass judgment on him.

You have a knack for making your homerism almost sound plausible. And such conviction. One would think you bought your own bullshit.
