I predict......

That a majority of the pundits, TV/Blogs/Media/etc will pick the

9ers.

I'm prepared for that, there will be much talk about that 8 game win streak ( didn't Carolina have a streak like that when they went to New Orleans and got their ass handed to them, yup, thought so)

So anyway, the pundits will say

Seahawk O is struggling, peaked weeks ago
9ers are on a roll, peaking
Seattle has a "Fish Market" they show it EVERY time, (the Fish cam last game was cool though)
These teams don't like each other.
The weather will suck, it always rains, at least 300+ days a year.
Hard to beat a team 3 times, oh wait, that doesn't apply. Just kidding.
SF has 5 Lombardi's, Seattle has ZERO......oh wait, that would be breaker and his followers.

Enjoy the week.

Go Hawks........

RW, you better start playing as a Pro-Bowler, otherwise you will actually be playing in that Pro Bowl Game, which would (breaker) for us. (Breaker) means sucks.

That's fair, and I agree about how much the CLINK is worth in points. After some thought, to me, Kaepernick is capable of having a good game and beating the Seahawks in Seattle, he's been tough on the road everywhere else he's played, but he hasn't done it there yet, and until he does I will be skeptical he can do it.

We all know that Kaep is quite an athlete and is capable of great things. We have had his # at home and we expect it to continue, but maybe not the degree it has been.
Without question, the NFCCG at our home will be the loudest imaginable. That is the game the noise collectors should gauge.

Among me and the other Niners fans watching the game today, expectations for the Seattle game ranged from "hopeless" to "well its possible we could pull one out". Last few games in Seattle have inspired exactly no confidence, Niners self-combusted in both, and while they're playing better now than beginning of season its hard to be too optimistic.

If Seattle brings their absolute best game, they will win, no matter what SF does.

Yeah but if Denver plays it's absolute best game in the Super Bowl, no team has a shot.

From an outsider........

49er defense stops Lynch and that puts Russell in the position of having to make the passing game work, both short and long. That allows the 49er defense to push the pocket like they did today against Carolina. Since the 12th man doesn't make much noise while the Seahawks are on offense, Russell could start to feel like he's in Death Valley.

Seahawks defense doesn't try to "out Testosterone" the 49ers and plays football, they'll keep the game in check with help from the noise.

From here in the east, I think the Seahawks have to get up early on the 49ers. If they let the 49ers hang around or get ahead, it's going to be a long day. The 49ers got up on Carolina and the defense played extremely strong and took the Panthers totally away from their comfort zone. If they get up on the Seahawks, by 10+, and play like they did today......the Hawks are dead birds.

Neither of them will beat the Pats in the Super Bowl. Snow, 20-28 degrees and 40 MPH winds. Like playing a dome for the Patriots.

I think it's possible.

For the honor of facing the eventual Super Bowl champion.

If the niners bring their absolute best game, they may have à shot.

If the Seahawks bring their absolute best game, the niners dont have à shot
That is what this game will come down to.....what team will get most turnovers ,penalties, bad clock managment ,etc. These teams cannot fuck up at all...it will cost them the game.

If the 9ers start slow, the game could be be over quick. I just don't like the redzone offense from the 9ers, and their horrible ability to use TOs like toilet paper. Die hard 9er fan, but Seattle seems to have our number at their house, hopefully Harbaugh unleashes the beast that is Kaepernick with a lot of run -pass options on the edge.
