it wasn't that long ago when the afc west and nfc west were dragging up the rear, though. things go in cycles. The East teams will be back at some point.

Not to mention that 4 of that 10-6 team's losses came against the NFC West. If they played in the East or North they probably would have at least 2 more wins.

If the Chargers can draft and or dip into the FA market and get some help on the O line and secondary, they will be scary good next year. There is a lot more parity in the NFL this year, which makes the playoffs very interesting. I don't see one single playoff game resulting in a blow out. I think all will be competitive, and once again, the Super Bowl will be anti-climatic.

That logic really doesn't work, sorry. I don't care that the Bengals are 8-0 at home all that much, and neither will the Chargers. Explain how the Chargers are "terrible." That is simply asinine. Yes, their defense is weak and am not fooled for a second by their ok PPG allowed, but the offense is remarkably efficient for the most part which is why they are even in the playoffs (ignoring what may have arguably been their least impressive game last week).

Just because you "blowout" a team on the road, and then play the same team at home, doesn't mean much. The Bengals are better, so they should win, but to pretend that the Chargers are god awful is just ridiculous. I have more a problem with the "No Chance" comment than the 3 TD's which is a possibility as with all games.

Surely you have seen how "Bad Andy" can wreck a game in nothing flat? It might not hurt enough to lose at times because the Bengals have a fantastic roster in my personal opinion, but this "No Chance" crap is just stupid. 8-0 Home records or not.

were you this confident in the wild card round over the previous 2 seasons when the bengals were twice quickly ousted by a less-than-impressive texans team who failed to win any further playoff games after sweeping your team aside?

Look, i think everyone is in agreement that the Bengals are the better team. Vegas has Cincy favored by 7 points for a reason. However, to act like the Chargers are a 'B' league team is naive. If the Chargers play one of their better games and the Bengals play one of their poorer games, the Chargers CAN and WILL win that game.

Bolts worst loss was by 8 points. Bengals could definitely win but the Chargers don't get blown out. Don't forget road wins at Philly, Denver, and KC. Playing in Cincy certainly won't scare them.

I think of the Chargers as an extremely bad team. I have no respect for them. It doesn't matter what I think, though. I'm just expressing my opinion of how I see the game unfolding on Sunday.

The Bengals are 8-0 at home and have scored 40+ 4 out of the last 5 games and 34 against the Ravens in the last game. The Chargers defense stinks. The Bengals beat SD in SD...manhandled them, actually.

This game will be a blow out.
