I thought it was just me that noticed this.

This guy doesn't even read what I type, he just blindly responds about things I didn't even say.

Did you not know that you were involved in a circular argument?

Brian McCann alone is worse than the entire Cards team.

Dude...do you remember who the Cards catcher is? He's probably the biggest d-bag in the entire league.

I could strike Puig out.

How?

I'd roll it up there three straight times.

I think for a 23 year old kid he has done okay. You can see how childish he is at times, but I remember Kobe Bryant was childish too in his first years with the Lakers. Got called up to Magic Johnson's office a few times for lectures. Oh man - those lectures was worse then getting a spanking - lmao

It happens - He will grow up

With him and his Vlad Guerrero strike zone, he might be able to put one of those 3 rollers back up the middle noe the less.....

TLF, the "poor little kid" routine is absurd, okay? Stop already. He's a grown-ass man playing professional baseball for the Los Angeles Dodgers and yet you'd have us believe that he's ignorant of the most basic unwritten rules in baseball? Please, man. Enough.

Clearly you haven't read through the entire thread.

I clearly stated, the issue was not his celebration after his triple. The issue was his antics at home plate. And on top of his idiot antics near the plate, it wasn't even a home run.

Did I clear this up for you?

You're right, I didn't read through the entire thread but nor did I reply to anyone specifically, I was just expressing my opinion on it in general. That's fine, but Beltran also thought it was a homer, Beltran made no effort to track that ball, he just stood and watched. I can't really blame him for thinking it was a homerun, everyone else thought it was too.

Puig is the energizer bunny when it comes to energy, this was a must-have game in a series where the Dodgers' hitting has been downright anemic. Add on top of that the fact that you're facing Wainwright down 2-0 in the series and you have a perfectly acceptable reason (in my eyes) for celebrating and admiring your own work. Part of the reason why he's as good as he is is because he's emotional.

He did go a little over the top but that's only part of it, the positives heavily outweigh the negatives.

In his first year as a rookie, Yes - the guy in one incident was took out of the game because he didn't slide into the base and got tagged out, so there seems to always be something he's doing. I still think next year we will see a big improvement. Besides that I see others doing as well, so I'm okay with some. it's the playoffs and they should be allowed to show some emotion.

Was it stupid? Yes, because he should have been running out of the box, not celebrating a home run that didn't happen. However, I think baseball in general needs to take a chill pill. Everyone is so easily offended.

I don't see that as a very big deal. I see much worse, including the deadspin article linked in here. So what if he celebrates a big hit in a series where his team is down 2-0? .

That's about how I see it. Not to mention, it was at home in front of a pumped crowd.

Bedsides, if the Cards have a problem with it, they shouldn't have let him hit a triple in the first place.
