You know what I find most interesting about this ongoing situation with Puig's disrespect of the game itself?

How Jerry Hairston is so vocally defensive of Puig's indefensible behavior.

Jerry Hairston is one of those self-righteous, easily-offended types. What a hypocrite. :bullshit:

Puig was acting like an idiot on that triple that he thought was a home run.

What's funny is, before that triple he was 0-11 with 7 k's, and he still acted like an idiot. He is an embarrassment, and only makes me respect guys like Helton and Jeter even more.

well, if you were the one guy that energized a 250 million dollar payroll team and drive them to the playoffs you might have an attitude too. I cant wait til someone beans him and runs away like a little girl when he charges the mound.

Still seems to have a lot to learn but potential to be great. It will be up to him.

I can understand getting kind of pumped up in the playoffs, since it is the playoffs. He has done dumber things.

I don't like Puig at all. He has so much hype that I think it has gotten to his head. He really needs to be shown that he is only a rookie and that when it comes down to it respect actually means something.

Puig is from Cuba, and looks like he's 35.

I wonder how old Puig really is....

Must be from more than just the triple, cause I don't see that as a very big deal. I see much worse, including the deadspin article linked in here. So what if he celebrates a big hit in a series where his team is down 2-0?

Hope he hits a HR every at bat and celebrates everyone, if it means the Cardinals are bounced from the playoffs. That team is the biggest group of self righteous pricks I've ever seen.

I personally loved the emotion he showed. We need to see more emotion like that in sports

Hes more like 27.

When you are poor, they dont celebrate all their birthdays, so they just count the parties. thats why they age correctly when they get rich playing ball in the states.

Yeah, they're pretty sickening, I agree. But this time I'm siding with them. Puig's antics would be tired by now even for a veteran but for a rookie. He needs one in the ribs.

Brian McCann alone is worse than the entire Cards team.
