I'm okay with the call. It was shitty special teams play and stupid (and at times controversial) penalties that did us in. All in all, we've got a lot to look forward to I think. :suds:

Some people just don't understand how this overturning thing works....

You can't be 99% sure.......you have to be 100% sure.

There weren't enough angles there for us viewers to be 100% sure.

very interested to see that UW D vs Oregon next week. Hope DAT is healthy.

As a college football fan I'm looking forward to seeing how Oregon does against another top 25 team (lettuce be real tea the Ducks have played nothing but soft teams so far)

As a Huskies fan I'm really looking forward to seeing how UW handles a natty contender like Oregon at home. UW put up a hell of a fight on the road against a top 5 team, home field advantage should just mean that much more for us.

Here's to hoping that UW cleans up the penalties and beats Oregon next week. I wouldn't bet my house on it but I like our chances. :suds:

The only real issue is that the whole weekend was defined by the 100% conclusive rule.
It seemed like a strong standard and absolute precedent was established.

Texas probably fumbled, but it wasn't conclusive....maybe 90%
Northwestern probably got the first down, but it wasn't conclusive maybe 85%
Kansas State did not fumble, but it wasn't conclusive....maybe 99.999%

The Cyclones, Wildcats, and Wildcats all lost games due to the 100% rule.

for some reason, this replay official made a call with at most a 60% correct chance.

That is not really their job.

Anything less than 100% and they should not get involved.

ball hit the ground after his arms and hands were under it. however, it does not appear the ground aided in him catching that football.

It was another BS call from the PAC officials and another week where we hear about the PAC refs screwing up.

I think the ball hit the ground, but the video was not 100% conclusive IMO. I am disappointed the the refs decided the game, but I am a homer too.

should be a decent game after UW showing tonight. But lets be real with ourselves. Stanford is a top 5 team, sure, but the Farm is no real home field advantage. It wasn't like you were playing #5 Florida in the Swamp or something like that.

I hope all UW is healthy for this game. Price thumb looked like a sprain or something, hope he is OK and Sankey has carried the ball like 100 times in 2 games, I hope he is healthy.

im gonna say go Huskies just so you will agree with me. I love it, you refuse to ever agree with anything I say. Pull the dildo out of your ass. Everything I say you just come full blaze attack mode. Calm down dude and if I piss you off that much put me on ignore.
how was that attacking? Are you being hyper defensive or what?

I've been saying it to everyone since it ended including UW fans. Stop being so sensitive. I believe what I believe and there is NO chance anything you say will ever change that. Just not going to happen.

I believe you man up in a loss and take responsibility for the things you had control over and didn't do well. I'll be pissed of Sark crys over that play. I expect them to say they didn't play their best and left a lot of bad plays out there that led to this loss. Not trying to argue with anyone. The play may have been bad. I personally didn't see the ball hit the ground before he caught it, but the point was those calls are going to happen and always do. Just play the way you practice and don't make unforced errors. If you do that and still lose then tip your cap. If the refs still get in the way then maybe bitch, but when you shoot yourself as many times as we did you have nothing to complain about but your own play.

I agree. It looked like it MIGHT of hit the ground, but do you really know if his arm is under there. When you question it like this, it isn't 100% and therefore the play should stand.

It looked to me like the ball hit the ground, and I'd say I was 100% sure it did. But it was close only because it was 1 angle that showed it.

The only thing I can think of is the replay booth had an angle we did not. Which I thought replay had the same angles the networks has.

better be careful saying that. OcD is going to say you are only saying that to argue with him. :laugh3:

I guess they aren't used to seeing people take accountability for the things their own team didn't do in a loss.

don't they get the coaches angles too? I know there are angles the network don't have, but I'm not 100% sure if the booth has access to those on instant replay.

That being said this call disn't decide the game, but it was still an important call that needs to be 100% conclusive. I think it hit the ground first, but I only THINK
