I hope we sign Choo this week but i hope we sign Kendrys Morales instead of Cruz as the other player.He is three years younger his contract will be less and he is a switch hitter with stats very good from both sides of the plate with more power left handed so it could bring our right field porch in play for him.I think we could sign him to a deal of 3 for around 39 million which is going to be about 9 or 10 million less then Cruz.It also gives us a better lineup against right handed pitchers with Choo,Fielder,Morales,Martin and Profar all batting left handed

and if Cruz and his hammies go elsewhere we get a comp pick

Terps, I think this can go on the life of the contract. Choo has got to stand up and put an end of the nonsense. If the money is fine who's going to care about one measly year. Wasn't an option enough? Or was it offered?

If he continues to develop then he'll opt out and get more money. If he's plateaued or, god forbid, has major injury then he'll opt in and Texas is left to fit the bill.

All he's doing is negotiating; part of the process. He's the best of the best at what he does.

Don't get me wrong; he makes me crazy too. But I do respect him. Wouldn't wanna play cards with him, but he does an honest days work on behalf his clients.

At the end of the day it's all up to the player. Boras isn't manipulating them, he's just trying to get them what they want. So if Boras is greedy, so are the players.
