Is there any doubt the Seahawks are the far superior team?

The Seahawks are an excellent team at the moment. They were an excellent team late last year. I'll still be surprised if the Seahawks are the #1 team going into the playoffs because things change very quickly and and teams that start fast often slow down then can't speed up again. If the Seahawks are different then good for them. I've seen bad 49ers boards elsewhere - such as NFL.com in 2011. I don't see it here. When i've looked at 49ers threads i've seen thoughtful opinions and good discussions. Unfortunately the Seahawks threads aren't anywhere near as good. A considerable number of Seahawks fans are nothing more than blind homers who behave as though the Seahawks have four-peted and are certainties to win their 5th ring.

I enjoy conversations and see some trolls on both boards. The 49ers are more active but if you wade through a bit of shit on either there are good discussions on both.

Here's something interesting to ponder. We all know how Breaker will react if the 49ers win Thursday night. There will be a virtual avalanche of his obnoxious bullshit.

But what if they lose?

Does he disappear?

He trolls the politics board too. Some absurd shit.

Breaker is on suicide watch so you have forgive him, you have to forgive Seattle fans, a shitty baseball team, lost our basketball team, lost the minor league hockey team, got NHL blue balled, have a shitty college football program on Montlake with a sleaze ball HC..if there is any excitement I think Seattle fans are allowed to get all giddy. You should see lame ass Sounders fans.
You mean the 16th ranked team in the nation? Yeah, I thought you might have meant them :laugh3:

Love it!

I really loved how the Seahawks tried to sue Texas A&M over the '12th Man' title and the Aggies, in court, explained that THEY'VE been using it since 1925.

A full 50 years ahead of the Seahawks even being a franchise.

LOL! The Seahawks never took TA&M to court, moron.

Another idiot who posts crap without a clue of what actually happened.

The Seahawks and many other football teams were using the term 12th Man. The Seahawks had been using it for close to 20 years.

TA&M got dollar signs in their eyes and took the richest fanbases to court. They saw Paul Allen as a payoff. It obviously was not a sacred term to them since they quickly settled for some bank and then disappeared.

Get your facts straight before opening your mouth next time.

Still hilarious to watch Breaker frothing at the mouth in denial.

He is about one step away from checking himself into a "rest facility" for some downtime in a rubber-walled room!

You would think so, but the guy is just warming up. You can't shame the shameless.

No, this is his life. He can't stop himself.

Yet, I must believe you took his side when you banned me from their board.

In order to be considered a threat to win the SB, don't you have to have won a Super Bowl?

Did you know Manning is on pace to throw 6000 yards and 64 TD's?

Logically speaking, no. Anyone who hasn't been eliminated from playoff contention is a threat to win a Superbowl. And studies have shown that winning previous Superbowls don't actually award teams any advantages in future seasons.

How is it sarcasm? manning IS ON PACE to have those stats. It won't happen but the numbers don't lie.
The Broncos scored a TD against the Raiders in the first 4:32 of the game. That means that they were on pace to win the game 93-0, but for some crazy reason, they only won 37-21, weird!! Maybe predicting an outcome after only 13% of completion actually doesn't accurately reflect the finished product! (to save you the trouble of busting out a calculator, we are 18.7% through the season)

So, you really meant both of those things?

You really mean that comment about having to have won a SB to be threat to win one this year? Really?

And those numbers are great, Manning is in for an all-time year it appears. But he is also on pace to throw for 650 attempts. That's a shit ton for a guy his age. There is a reason why QBs that throw a ton in the regular season struggle in the playoffs, their arm gets worn down. Only one QB in NFL history has had more than 600 attempts and went on to win the SB (Brady-2002- 601 attempts) and he was 25.

The Broncos need to get their running game going and take pressure off of Manning and try to get his attempts down. It would take away from those impressive numbers, but it would help them in them come postseason time. The Broncos are also middle of the pack in time of possession, something that I'm sure they want to improve throughout the season to keep the defense fresh.
