According to Chris Mortensen the league is about to drop at least a 6 game ban on Von.

Well, i guess the Ravens won't have to worry about the Denver defense Thursday night.
Well at least the Broncos are playing a pretty easy offense in the Ravens for that first game. Other than the 75 yard touchdown play to Torrey Smith that offense has looked like one of the 5 worst in the NFL this preseason. Man Flacco looks lost and so do the receivers. Also maybe they should try to find a TE that can actually catch a ball.
It's only preseason don't get caught up in what happen in a few series. The offense will be fine.
I understand it is only preseason but there are certain things you look for. Flacco at least being half way accurate is one and he has been way off on some of his throws especially in the intermediate area. You also look for players beginning to at least understand the offense and well there were players completely lost on plays especially from the TE position. The other is who is Flacco going to throw to on 3rd down that when the pressure is on that he can trust and so far nobody has shown they can do that. Jones on his comeback route just stopped on Flacco's first interception and didn't even try to fight for the ball. He lacked the ability to do one of the easiest routes for any receiver.
I will give it to the Ravens in they should still have a decent run game but teams will figure out quickly they can stack the box on this team to contain the run game.
you'll see come Thursday.

Von was nonexistent in the playoff game last year and you guys still had your hands full. So long as I am admitting truths, I would be more comfortable with Von in the game than without him.
both offense scored over 30 points in that game not sure what you were watching, but it was like a ping pong match out there.

And it took two overtimes to decide the winner. Hands full. I did not say the defense shut down the ravens.
More specifically, Von was missing most of that game. For whatever reason Del Rio thought having the best pass rusher drop into coverage was a good idea.
If it wasn't' for the Denver special team the game would not have gone to over time, plus the Ravens put up 35 points in 4 quarters. If giving up 35 points is the defenses doing a good job, i'd hate to see what happen if the defenses does a bad job.
Seriously how many times do we need to have this stupid talk? Both teams had plays in the game that in most normal games would not happen. The Broncos had 2 special teams touchdowns but the Ravens had an interception returned for touchdown and 2 plays over 50 yards for touchdowns (again the Broncos had given up 1 play all season over 50 yards). Both teams did some things that they had not done all season.
Also he did not say the Bronco defense played well. Other than a couple of big plays though they did contain the Ravens defense. Such as without those 2 big plays again they would have only had 21 points on offense with a defensive touchdown to add to that. For a defense giving up 21 points isn't too bad for a game.
